Demo?s has been in San Antonio for 40+ years. I have been eating here with my family since I was in a high chair. I absolutely... love their good. The meat is always seasoned so well and the hand cut potato fries are second to none. My only wish is that theymade their own pita bread so that it was what they were known for. A girl can dream? Otherwise, keep up the decades of good workDemos. Read more

Demos is delicious, clean and very consistent. My go to Mediterranean kitchen. I worked for a Lebanese family as a young man and... fell in love with Mediterranean food. Demos is as close as I can get to the recipes I discovered working for the Sahadi family. Read more

Overall coming to Demo's Greek Food for the first time I am quite happy with the way they are doing it. If I'm entering the... building I saw that on the back wall there was a menu with different types of choices. My wife and I chose a pita with hummus asour appetizer and sweet tea and lemonade as our drinks. I've never had hummus before but I'm not going to lie I think it waspretty good me and my wife both ate it and thought it was good but not entirely for us. For a main entrees we ordered two gyrosdeluxe which came with lettuce tomatoes feta cheese and black olives lamb meat beef. I also came with the side of fries whichwere fresh and made to the day that we came in. Everything was extremely hot and fresh people did not rush to get our food outbut did not also take their time they did it in an orderly fashion and I definitely recommend this place if you haven't triedit. The decor inside is quite nice and goes with the Greek vibes. Read more

I love this place and this location is the most convenient for me at Loop 1604 and Blanco Road. What a beautiful day for a... Spicy Gyro! Admitting that I am partial to Greek food above other Mediterranean foods. I worked at an managed a Greek Seafoodrestaurant in Marblehead Ohio while in colleges Denos (almost the same) laughing and enjoying my work learning the food fromKonstantinos ?Gus? Denos. I also had Greek Cypriot roommates in college. This was the first I tried their spicy version withHigh Octane Extra Spicy cottage cheese. I added Tzatziki because, well for me required. What a delightful balance. Alwaysfresh crisp lettuce, traditional gyro meat and a fabulous pita. Swing in, enjoy a quick lunch sandwich or salad, or spend alittle more time on a full dinner. I?ll see you again soon Read more

Demo's was an overall good place to stop for a filling dinner that wasn't "heavy." The food was nothing special but the dolma... was definitely the star. I would come here again since it is conveniently located for me but would not say this is the bestGreek in San Antonio Read more

My wife and I gave this one a try tonight while the kids stayed home, and I must say....this is my FAVORITE restaurant I've been... to in 2021!! What was there not to love? The decor was outstanding, with lovely murals throughout the store. The service wasspectacular, and the food was the best Greek cuisine I've had outside of Europe(!!) In addition, the prices were reasonable ANDthey even gave us a military discount. What else can I ask for? If I must think of a negative, it was in getting out of theparking lot. Turning left onto Blanco Rd proved a nightmare, and I wish it was closer to home. Read more
