We came here specifically to get a leg and thigh combination family feast and they told us that they did not have enough to... accommodate that so we had to get the mixed and even though it was not our fault we did not want the mix we only want it like inThai they still refuse to give us any sort of discount for it and charges the leg and thigh price it wasn't that big adifference but still they're the ones who couldn't accommodate. The worst pollo loco in San Antonio Tx is this one . Always have an issue with this location. Obviously I’m not ordering... anything from here Anymore .Ordered a original pollo bowl and some chicken tacos al carbon , okay they didn’t put grillchicken on my food they use the most disgusting boiled shredded chicken that I’ve never tried . This restaurant doesn't live up the brand at all. Please avoid this location. It is the San Pedro location in San Antonio TX. I... try to be fair for my reviews so here is why I scored this location 1?? star. Waited 25 minutes lost 1 ??. Price was too highfor the poor quality we received. Lost another ??. The rice was old and not fresh, way to stale. Was probably made the dayprior. Lost another ??. Product had no taste and doesn't follow the parent company requirements for correct spices andprocedures to prepare it and cook it. I would really avoid this location. I wouldn't wrote off the entire brand because theCalifornia locations have excellent chicken and this the only SA location we tried. See for yourself how awful this entireproduct was. The only reason they got 1 ?? was for the beans. If we are being honest there is NO reason to visit this locationuntil Corp comes to the store and resolves the issues. I can't believe we're living in a time where we are paying more than ever for food and receiving this quality! My avocado... chicken burrito was 1/2 the size it usually is. My husband's pollo bowl didn't even come with a lid and don't even get mestarted on my salsa coming in a freaking bag. Oh and the beans were missing from the Pollo bowl. The service was very slow due to lack of employees. The trash can overflowing and they didn't have any chicken breasts for my... order. It's a chicken place. I wasn't even told this upon ordering. Waited over half an hour for an order that was to be readyin 7 minutes. The guacamole had a pit in it that I hurt my tooth on when I tried it. There is no real customer service here. Thefood for the most part is good. Chips were cold, stale. They had no answer or remedy for my issue with paying extra for breastsbut cannot refund because they don't know how. Terrible service. No customer focus at all. The dark "seed" in guacamole pictureis what I painfully bit into. Ouch. Read more
Understanding that it was lunch I was ok with the wait, but when I hurried back to work I noticed my order was wrong, the... tortillas were room temp and undercooked and the chicken was so over cooked it was like dry chicharon. First time. Went in late just to get an 8 piece chicken plate for a friend. No sides so can't comment on those. Friendly staff... guy was patient and helpful. Came with tortillas so that was nice. 8 piece is basically a whole chicken he said. 2 ofeverything. Got home and ate late. It was only a little warm. Chicken still tasted very good.
