We found this place pre-Covid and hubs has been wanting to return. The food was delicious and they had a couple gluten free past... dishes. Hubby got a soup and the children enjoyed the pizza. I like when everyone is silent????. The wine menu was small but didthe trick. Can?t go wrong with a good Chianti and tomato based ????. The ambiance is still lovely and the feel of a piece ofItaly is present in the space. This is a great lunch and dinner spot and we will be returning. Read more
I had an Italian sausage sandwich and it was really good a little spicy, but not spicy enough so I added crushed red peppers to... heat it up!!! The wife had lasagna and that was delicious as was my sandwich!!! We also had the tiramisu and the mini cannolisalso very rich and delicious!!! We went here after the zoo and it was a great place to chill and cool down a little while having some fantastic food. I got the... pappardelle bolognese and it was delicious. I love the efficiency as well. Order at the counter and pay when you come in, find atable and then no need to wait for the check or boxes. If you need them just go grab them. Read more
Deli is listed as an Italian Market & Deli. From what I?ve seen from previous reviews, they?ve all been negative because it?s... not a true Italian Market & Deli. Nothing like keyboard warriors, everyone must keep in mind it?s the U.S. and not everything isauthentic. They tailor to the local community. Either enjoy or don?t go. That being said it?s certainly a unique take on Italiancuisine in the heart of Texas. My wife and I have traveled multiple times to Italy and the different regions. We love Italianfood and always looking to find a little spot. While Fratellos Deli isn?t authentic Italian the food is still good. The waitresswas extremely helpful and nice throughout our stay. The food on the other hand was good but did have its minor issues. My wife?ssandwich was a bit spicy to the point she had to stop eating it. I also tried it and could only handle so much, while it doescontain spicy ingredients, you want to keep people coming back and that?s not how you do it. My pizza was very delicious withthe four cheeses, however, it was a bit greasy. I would expect this from a delivery pizza company not a Deli. Everyone isentitled to their opinion whether positive or negative. We recommend trying this Deli out and positively finding somethingyou?ll enjoy. Worst food ever!! ????????????I?m a real Italian from Italy and the food we ate here is an insult to our colture! You should be... very ashamed to be using the Italian flag and to sell such awful dishes as if they were authentic. Dried basil?!?! For real?!?Really disgusting. Dirty restaurant, disgusting food, and come on the people who work there don?t even know how to pronounce thenames of things. Also THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL ARE NOT ITALIAN AT ALL! If you wanna buy Italian ingredients just go to the centralmarket in SA. Don?t visit this place everything is disgusting and definitely not Italian!
