We tried this place for dinner tonight. We got 1 giant pepperoni pizza, cheese bread and a 10 piece Buffalo wings. The pizza... was good. I do wish it was crispy and not so soft. The cheese bread was my favorite it was delicious soft and fresh. TheBuffalo wings were good but not the best I?ve ever had. Clean place. But nothing like the old school Goombas on Blanco. Skimpiest weak sandwich I?ve ever seen. I think you get... better and more meat in the public school cafeteria sandwich. Read more
2nd visit. As great as the first time. Medium meat lovers Pizza and an order of chicken wings and drinks- about $39 so not that... cheap but was easy to share and had left overs... The pizza is very light on the sauce which I love... you have to have a goodratio of sauce to cheese and they do... and it's about that crust yum yum and wait a minute did I say yum. The chicken wings Iordered were the lemon pepper chicken wings and then had them extra crispy... they were REALLY great... that's probably one ofthe best lemon pepper wings I've had in town and they weren't overly salty like a lot tend to be... just perfect. And they havea Gold Peak tea machine, if you haven't had Gold Peak tea, you dont know what your missing...always a plus.... My friendsordered similar things... one friend ordered just two slices of pizza and a drink and those slices were really big. Look, I knowyou cant swing a red checked tablecloth without hitting a pizza joint but put this one on your list. Tough Pizza Crust & Old Lasagna It was obvious that nothing I paid for was fresh. The pizza slices were rewarmed, and the crust... was very tough. I couldn't just bite into the pizza. I had to bite, then rip it away in order to eat it. The lasagna was veryold with new sauce piled on top to camouflage it. The noodles were soggy, and the entire dish had a strange odor. Read more
Good stuff from this little unassuming pizza place. Glad they found their way over here to I-10/Wurzbach strip center. Great... service, fast & friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Sauce was perfectly done to accompany the 2 appetizers we ordered--cheesygarlic bread & pizza rolls. Supreme 12" Pizza was goooooood. Give them a try ???? Read more
Super friendly staff! Delicious pizza! The slices are HUGE! Three of us got two slices and a drink. Total was $28.42. Not too... shabby if you ask me. I tend to eat way more than any human should. I?m no completion eater but I can pack away my fair share.That being said, I was stuffed after eating two slices. I?m telling you, they are giant and as good as I?ve ever had! Came in on Saturday late afternoon. The service was really good. We ordered the extra large pepperoni with extra cheese pizza... and the mild wings. The size of the pizza was good for five people and it was really nicely made. The crust was on point! Read more
