Where is the beef ? I have always enjoyed the brisket sandwich plate with fries and sweet tea. I stopped by today for early... dinner and this time I was disappointed. I was basically served a bread sandwich. The sandwich had 5 very small and thinlysliced pieces of brisket I could hardly taste or feel the texture of the brisket. I will be fair and say the bread, the extracrispy fries and sweet tea were good. In the past the portion of brisket in the sandwich was plentiful. I understand thatrestaurant are struggling, but significantly changing the portion size is not good for business. I would have preferred to paymore to enjoy my brisket sandwich than being g served the bread sandwich I got. You can and should do better Grady's. Read more
For the first time eating here I will be going back. BBQ was hot and fresh. Brisket and chicken was juicy. Good fried pickles.... Of what is pictured that I got it?s was all good. The side of condiments weren?t much but was the basics for your food comparedto others. They didn?t have utensils only spoons. Had to ask for straws and cutlery. The food was good that I can get past thesilverware. Use my hand for bbq anyways. They do have a drive thru in case you don?t want to dine in. Read more
Wow, what a big surprise. We had the best service and food experience today. Friendly staff, we were greeted with smiles.... Restaurant was very clean, except for the drink fountain. Catfish(corn meal) was outstanding...cookedperfectly...delicious. Frys were fresh and crispy, corn was sweet and hot. Deep fried mushrooms had great flavor. Read more
It's been a long time since I ate here decided to give it a try. Saw the menu changed hoping for no disappointments. Boy was I... wrong. The portion was super small not enough to fill one person. $27 for this. Thanks but no thanks. Decided to get a refundand go eat at old smokehouse for a few dollars more. Went here for a catered dinner after my Godson's first communion. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. Their party... room was large enough to accommodate over 30 guests. The restaurant was neat and clean. A nice option if you're looking for tohost a small gathering. Read more
Called about a week before our visit. The Monday before the visit we signed for our reservation of the party room. They waived... our fee due to it being for a funeral gathering, which was very helpful. Day of our visit, the funeral service ran longer thanexpected so they allowed us to gather in the general area off to the side with no time limit. I appreciated that so much sincethe party room we booked had less than an hour left with another party coming in after. We were rushed at all and we were verycared for. Service was fast. Food was delicious and hot. Yes a bit on the pricey side but any BBQ place will be too. I reallyenjoyed this place. Highly recommend. Read more
Very nice aged smoke aroma when you walk in. Stopped in for lunch on my delivery routes after driving by many times. Great lunch... stop for Barbecue if you're in the area. Be sure and smash this SA original! Read more
