If I could no stars at all. Spoke to this lady prior before closing called about twice just to get hanged up on when saying she... got my order wrong. I ordered 6 different tacos and all six were very little chorizo and egg tacos. Called back to speak to thegentleman that speaks a pretty good amount of English just to hear that he left but seen him there when picking up order. Thisis ridiculous! Very disrespectful of her. What an amazing place. I have been coming here for years but I stopped going as much because I no longer work on this side of... town, but you can bet I will drop in if I?m nearby. Over the years they have been doing upgrades and improving their space. Thestaff is always friendly and attentive. A local business that I hope is around for years. Read more

Sat outside it was about 0930. My older sister and my 2 year old enjoyed their food- migas taco, carne guisada cheese, potato... egg cheese, bacon egg cheese, chips and salsa- delicious. Incredible prompt service- ordered and food was out within 5 minutesor so. The tea was fresh and served in mason jar- loved that Because it somehow made it seem colder? Coffee was good, lemonadewas meh. Have been here a hands full of times but have never left a review. Read more

Fantastic! Typically we call and pickup orders, but this time we decided to eat on the patio and enjoy the morning before work.... Patio features a beautiful fountain and benches for groups. Our waitress was so nice, and they always get our orders right.Never a long wait time, food was out quickly and tasted yummy! Read more

Really good breakfast. The only place to get something better MIGHT be if you cooked it. Edgar is great, very friendly and quick... with his service. The corn tortillas are home made and hot. I sent my spouse this same image and she decided to order breakfastas well. Read more

What a GREAT Mexican restaurant on this side of town. Service was awesome, our server Edgar was so kind and made sure to refill... drinks as needed. The food was FANTASTIC! FLAVOR was there as well as fresh. My wife ordered chicken chalupas that were perfectaccording to her. My food was light, far from the heaviness you normally feel from typical Mexican foods. Overall this place wasa gem to be found on this side of town. Great job owners. Read more

The food, service and ambience are excellent! This was my first time coming here even though I was raised in San Antonio & love... Tex-Mex food. I ordered the enchiladas with a crispy taco plate but asked them to change it out for a Puffy Taco which theygladly accommodated. We also ordered the carne asada which was great. They served chips and salsa, of course. The chips are alittle thicker than I'm used to but their excellent salsa was amazing. Flour tortillas were great as well. We took our daughterhere on the way to the airport so she could have a Tex-Mex fix before heading back to DC and this place was convenient to theairport. So it's a great place to take out of town guests. Highly recommend! Read more

I finally started eating here again trying to support the local businesses in my neighborhood. I've always felt that for the... money this place usually disappoints. But I tried to look past that and consider the time that it saves me from driving toanother place they probably have similar food that might be just a little better. First of all I'd like to start off on apositive note, I do enjoy the large size mason jars that are used for the ice tea and other beverages that are so dear by theglass. The water and tea come with free refills. And now most soft drinks are sold by the can. When you drink order arrives, itusually comes with a complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are crispy, a bit dense, and a little on the more golden side.Although the salsa is a bit watery, it is somewhat tasty. Now there may be two or more reasons why you might come here but theprimary ones will be either for breakfast tacos on the go or perhaps a sit down lunch meal. Like most of the other Mexicanrestaurants around town, they do have a three taco special in the morning although this place only has a very limited selectionincluding bean and egg, ham and egg, and potato and egg. 3x$3.75 or $4. I've gotten the ham and egg before and find them a bitjuicy as the ham is the typical luncheon meat cooked ham you find mostly all around town. The bean and egg are not cookedtogether rather added along side which I dislike and the others are fine. Most of the other tacos run from $1.50-$1.99 and thebreakfast plates start off at $5.50. I find the egg and chicharrón plate to be the best value and the barbacoa taco at $2.50 tobe a winner. The menudo is fair. The caldo de res was a disappointment when I got it. I thought that for sure, since it was theweekend, that a fresh batch would be available. Although I come to find out that I was giving what tasted like an old slightlyfermented/sour broth with recently boiled potatoes added to it that totally lacked any kind of flavor from th Read more
