Absolutely delicious. They make it fresh so there is a bit of a wait but it was so worth it. The mixed breads were new to me and... so good. The lamb curry is my favorite and they did such a great job with it. The chicken curry was just as good. 10/10 Read more

Dinner was delicious!! I had Goat Vindaloo, cooked to perfection. My wife was glad that India Oven also has plenty of vegetarian... and vegan options. We had some fried vegetables as an appetizer, it was great. The servers were very friendly and know the menuvery well. We will definitely be back for the lunch before with our kids. Read more

It was my first time trying Indian food and it was absolutely phenomenal!!! Two of the waiters were very friendly and helpful... but the older man (possibly owner) was very rude. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. We still had about 20 minutes beforeclosing time and they were all staring us down waiting for us to leave, which I understand but still. The chicken was cookedperfectly for all dishes and so was the lamb. The samosas were okay but very fresh and the cheese appetizer was pretty good too.Definitely try if you are in the area. Read more

Fantastic and Flavorful! Of course, ordered my two guilty pleasures - Masala Tea (hot tea steaped with oils and spices) and my... precious Kashimiri Naan bread (Naan filled with nuts and fruits). A bread soooo good I will drive 45-min across town to have,place 2 orders at dinner because I am definitely not sharing with my husband and get another order to go (because it isfantastic for breakfast the next day), yes I like it that much!!! We started with an assortment of papadum with sauces which isalways crisp and light. We decided to order the Spinach Pakora which is spinach leaves dipped in batter from beans and deepfried. I don't like my Popeye the Sailor greens but I scarf these down like potato chips. Next we had the Paneer Tikkaappetizer and OMG, little of the lime on top and how can you beat spiced fried cheese with onions and a pickled slaw. Wefinished off with two vegetable dishes even though we are not vegetarians. Sag Paneer and Malai Korma which were served withperfect rice, medium spice because I like the spice to make my nose run a little. After our satisfyingly decadent meal, wepacked up our leftovers and took my tomorrow Naan (LOL) and headed foe the long drive home happy and ready for the next crosstown trip. Read more

Overall this is a solid Indian restaurant. The curry and vegetarian dishes are the all very flavor and nothing is overly greasy.... The samosas are okay if not a little plastic tasting as if they came from a freezer. Still, the buffet is strong, and the menuis extensive. You'll find something you like, and if you didn't like Indian food prior to visiting then this may well turn youonto it! Read more

I cannot tell you how long we?ve been looking around San Antonio for a good Indian cuisine restaurant. This place did not... disappoint!! It was a fantastic experience from the beginning to the end. Everything we got was extremely tasty and hit the spotright now! I especially loved their Chicken Korma! Also to note, they use their tandoori chicken in their Chicken Tikka Masala -absolutely amazing! One warning, the medium heat is a true medium to hot and the garlic naan is very garlicky. Must go! Finally my teenage son is willing to be a little more adventurous with food. We had the lunch buffet, which was absolute perfect... for a newbie. A great selection to choose from.
