Great! Decided to check it out on our way to a concert at at&t center and very glad we did. Still fairly new to San Antonio and... eating out as a vegan hasn't been the best experience so far, but this place was great. We both had the burrito and it wasexcellent. Drinks are a bit pricey but food was very reasonable. The atmosphere was really good. Read more

If you've never been to La Botanica then you don't know what your missing. So first off let me start with this place has amazing... charm. The people are always so friendly and accomodating. Secondly (and most importantly I might add) the food! The food is allvegan friendly and you can tell its made by more of a chef than just your average cook. From the way the food is plated to theinfusion of flavors that explode in your mouth. Their website says they also have a garden they use fresh herbs and veggies frommaking it that much more authentic and delicious. The patio allows them to show movies and have smaller music engagements.Overall this place is one of our top picks because of the people and food, but the prices are awesome. This is a fun place to hang for amazing drinks and vegan food. I had the empanadas trio and enjoyed it, but thought the... fillings could have been jazzed up a bit. The sweet potato filled one was my favorite. First bite hit you with a reminder ofThanksgiving with spices but finished with a slight heat. The tequila pina was wonderful and I'm not a tequila drinker, butwould order this again! A relaxed atmosphere perfect for kids or a night out with friends. Karaoke and a DJ were on the Sundaynight I visited. Some new and old favorites made it hard to leave. Read more
