Got some wings, I know... "But its Cajun food, why?". Let me tell you, them Tamarind Wings are delicious and I havent seen them... anywhere else. On the other hand, my hombre didnt have the best experience. Dried fried oysters in the po'boy. Ive always had agood Po'boy over at the Culebra location so maybe its the location, maybe he just got unlucky... Get them tamarind wingsthough. Sweet, salty and savory and a tad of acidity that elevates it. I know, "But the Crawfish?!?". Don't live your lifeconfined by the expectations set upon you... get them wings. Read more

I came to LA Crawfish to try their shrimp and Crab Legs and after dining in I will say it was a decent experience. The price was... in alignment with other spots I?ve tried but the wait was the longest. The food was tasty but my favorite to date is still SASeafood where you can tell they cook the protein in the sauce. Our food was good; I especially enjoyed the sausage and theshrimp but it was lacking sauce. The ambiance was relaxing and the decor was cute. I?d recommend it if you?ve never had thistype of food. This evening I went to LA Crawfish, I have gone many many times before and besides the steep price compared to other seafood... boil places here in San Antonio I do genuinely like the food here, although you can get a way better seafood boil deal atRedHook seafood. Long story short. I got to the bottom of my bag to see something shiny so I touched it and realized it was aVERY dirty penny hidden in the seafood sauce! I was instantly disgusted! My Wife called the store to let them know what we hadfound (I'd like to add we weren't expecting money back, we paid $70 for our meal) and that she wanted to speak to the managerwell come to find out the manager was just too busy to talk, so she spoke to the young lady who answered and let her know whathad just happened. The girl let us know they thoroughly inspected our bags before bagging it up (which obviously wasnt thecase) and that if we wanted a refund we must send it all back Penny and all and UNEATEN lol. Unfortunately I didn't discoverthis until it was all eaten up?. This wasn't the issue though, the problem is that this establishment doesn't know how toproperly rectify an issue, there wasn't any sympathy or apology or anything of that nature and I feel it could have just beenhandled a little better. The place is decently clean. The food was pretty good. My server Talina was AMAZING and super informative. They have Pepsi... products and options for adding additional seasoning to food. They service was fast too. The rating is because LA Crawfish wasout of crawfish the day I went. ???? There are plenty options so we still had a delicious experience. I do recommend the gumbo Ido not recommend the crawfish empanadas. The beignets are unorthodox but still yummy. The place is not over priced but isn?tcheap either. We?ll be back.
