We stopped in on a whim on a Saturday night after not being able to find anything else in the area without at least an hour... wait. La Laguna was busy but there was no wait! We were seated right away and let me tell you.. if you remember the restaurantsthat were in this location before, you might as well forget about them! They have remodeled this place to perfection. It?sabsolutely beautiful. More modern and eclectic. Nothing like I expected at all, nothing like how it was before. We had no ideawhat to order, but everything we took a chance on was amazing. Sushi was fresh and plentiful, they also have a fried chickensushi for those who don?t want fish! Never seen anything like it before. Absolutely delicious and prepared with care. It camewith a cucumber salad and the best fried rice I?ve had in a long time! The steak we ordered was cooked perfectly and thevegetables and peppers it came with were grilled and smothered in an amazing sauce. Very unique flavors that all worked togethervery well. They do bring chips to your table before you order as well, and the trio of salsas you get are all homemade anddelicious! This is a very cool, very unique fusion type restaurant. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. A wonderful variety of seafood to choose from. They even have steak for those that prefer... beef instead of seafood. Their mixed beverages could be ordered with or without alcohol and are presented beautifully in anarray of glasses. Some even came with various types of fruit pieces. Prepare to spend some money at this restaurant. But it iswell worth it. The portion sizes will fill you up. The child's plate of popcorn shrimp and fries was enough for TWO children.And the fries!!??!! They have a light golden batter on them that is Soo tasty. We will definitely be coming back here again. Ourwaiter was phenomenal. He was professional and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted to order. 10/10 highly recommended this place we have been here several times and every time the food and service makes us come back.... Service is 100/10 can?t compliment them enough.
