Helena was great. Very attentive and had small talk with us... would definitely come back!
I was looking forward to some good Mexican food and locals told me this was a pretty good place. I ordered the chicken fajita... taco salad. Came with big chunks of chicken thigh meat. It was border line cooked through, slightly pink on inside. Didn?t eatany. I am used to chicken breast being served for taco salad, and the thigh meat may have been ok if it was sliced thinner. Itwas literally 1 1/2? cubes. The shell it was served in tasted like old grease- not edible. Was obviously cooked day(s)? before.Really no excuse for this as the chips they served were fresh and I assume they are cooked daily. Went for breakfast Thursday sept 1 at 9:30 Our waitress brought our drinks but never returned to take our order. Had to go... looking for someone and a older woman took our order and passed on to the waitress. Finally received our order and asked for redsalsa took forever and she brought green. She was very preoccupied apparently and when I went to the restroom she was in theretalking on the phone so that was probably why our order and requests were taking so long. Awesome TexMex food. I love that they serve puffy tacos which not every place does. They have friendly staff with great service... and great food. I especially enjoy their enchiladas and the fact they are very accommodating with changing out beans and ricewith lowered carb foods like grilled mixed veggies. They serve chips and salsa of course.
