First of all anybody leaving less than four stars has no idea what the hell they're talking about. Although I shouldn't expect... as much from people who grew up on or think Tex-Mex is actually Mexican food. It's not hence the hyphenated name. Wow I'm reallysorry they don't slather everything in queso. Jesus. Anyway, I tried this place yesterday and came back today and have now triedfive things on the menu all of which were prepared correctly and delicious. Lastly thank the Lord that there's a place in townthat doesn't sell something as ridiculous as a breakfast taco. The rest of the country eats breakfast burritos you freaks andI'm looking forward to trying one of those tomorrow. Super happy this place is in the neighborhood and I wish them the best ofluck. Liked: chips were warm, they stay open late Disliked: got a the fish tacos and they smelled and tasted very fishy...if you've... ever had cheap/bad fish, you know what I mean. Ate about half of one and lost my appetite, ended up with stomach problemslater. Here's the biggie: the salsa tasted like cleaner!! Not that I've ever eaten cleaner, but it tasted like chemicals, justthe way that industrial restaurant cleaner smells. Won't be eating here again. Read more
Moved to San Antonio from San Diego and I was missing some good Mexican food. This place does not disappoint! Get you a... California burrito and some rolled tacos and you'll be good to go???? Read more
Don't sit in line at Las Palapas next door with this gem just steps away. Extensive taco selection, warm chips, salsa bar,... generous servings. The guacamole, beef burrito was huge and stuffed with beef, no bean or potato fillers. Super clean and fastfriendly service. Read more
This place doesn't represent the awesome taco joints in San Antonio. Tortillas aren't fresh or taste scratch, fillings were... maybe a teaspoon serving, where's the chorizo? There are to many other places to go to than to give up your hard earned money onthis. Also, eating tacos out is a treat that can easily be made at home too. Read more
Did a to go order and the food was good. But what irked me was, I can see my order sitting in the window, the main cashier was... busy but several employees walked to the front and no one can take the initiative to put my order in a bag. I'm sitting right upto the front counter. I had to stop someone and ask them to give me my order. Read more
This mexican Restaurant is DELICIOUS! Huge portions for the price you pay and we'll seasoned. Everything we tried was so yummy.... We went there 3 days in a row it was that good! Read more
Family and I have been here several times now the food is hot fresh and consistent at a great price. Always the staff here is... very friendly and helpful. Very large parking lot with easy access in and out. Great location easy to find they are open late. Read more
