I?m a huge matcha lover, and have been on a hunt for a good matcha place in town. I had high hope for this place and their... matcha did not disappoint. I ordered the soft-serve ice cream & matcha cream. The matcha tastes great, doesn?t have much of adifference than what I had in Japan. The only thing is the texture of the cream on top is a little off. The ice cream didn?tcome with the waffle cone since I got it to go. Also I wish there?s more Japanese decorations inside. My favorite spot in SA to get high quality matcha! Their menu is fantastic, and it?s great that they have non-dairy milk... substitutions for the lattes. My husband doesn?t like matcha as much as I do, so I?m glad they have fruit teas here as well.???? Read more

Overall experience was great. Matcha Cafe Maiko offers variety of matcha ice cream and other ice cream with taro, vanilla...etc.... The staff was friendly. Our impression was how quick they complete the order. The moment we finished our order the ice cream areready to serve. Super fast. The location is convenient next to interstate 410 and great clean store. We will come back again forsure. We wish the flavor was less creamy and it was too sweet for the teeth. But overall is great. Have been here twice now, great place to get a snack.. has been quiet both visits.. Service is fast, ice cream has great flavor,... generous serving sizes and lots of items to choose from. Waffle cones are made fresh and smell amazing when you enter. A musttry if you like matcha. Read more
Amazing, ordered a soft serve mix Match & Ube along with a Bingsu- which had strawberries, condensed milk, and Ube ice... cream. Service was great, front desk was very informative and they even offer samples prior to ordering. Only down side is itwas so busy they ran out of cones and seats, but that just shows how fantastic it is. They were printing tickets from the momentwe walked in until we left. Read more
