Mattenga's pizza is absolutely delicious and always baked to perfection! I've tried many of the sides offered as well, all... tasty, especially the cheesy garlic bread. I love the location, but I'm concerned about their visibility from the street(they're in the shopping center tucked behind the Starbucks FYI)- I want people to know they exist! Maybe they should send outflyers, there are tons of apartment complexes in the surrounding medical center. The prices are fair and there are weeklyspecials- I'm always happy to give them my business. Very friendly staff and awesome pizza! I am a vegan allergic to gluten which normally makes it a bit hard to find options for... me. This place has it all! Gluten free crust (which is delicious), vegan cheese and even vegan AND gluten free pepperoni (thevery nice server double checked with her boss for me as most vegan pepperonis are usually not gluten free)! My wife had aregular pizza and she loved it too. We will definitely come back next time we?re in town. Definitely recommend this place! Read more

This is, hands down, the best pizza on this side of town, period. I really hope this place stays open, for some reason, we don't... have any decent pizza joints left in this area. Why is it so good? 1. Crust is just right consistency, not too thin, not toothick. Sauce is amazing, they use legit ingredients, like actual sliced Italian sausage, not that frozen crumble stuff. I ordered pizzas for an open house I had in the neighborhood. I?m glad I ordered from Mattenga?s. I ordered 3 family size 16... inch pizzas My favorite was the Santa Fe. It was a really good choice. The hatch chilies gave it just the right amount of kickand was full of flavor. Great crust on the pizza?s and they were all cooked perfectly.
