Came here for a weekend breakfast with some out of town guests. There was a small wait, but a table was ready within 15... minutes. Upon being seated, the server immediately came over to take drink orders and answered a few questions about the menu. Ordered banana-pecan pancakes, smoked salmon benedict, cheese blintzes, French toast, French toast grilled cheese, NY deli hash& eggs. It was very busy, but all the plates came out together in about 15 minutes. Each order was plated nicely, lookedgreat, and were generous in size. Each plate was unique in its flavoring, so we had a wide range that was perfect for sharing. Depending upon what you're in the mood for, you'll find everything from sweet to savory here. I enjoyed each plate, so wouldn'trecommend any particular menu item. Overall, good food and service with something for everyone. Read more

We love max and Louie?s!! Disco fries are beyond unique and delicious. The onion rings were perfect along with the super tasty... ranch!! I really enjoyed My Turkey club! Some of the best Turkey breast I?ve ever had! The potato salad is definitely differentfrom what I?m used to, but I?m sure a lot of people love it! My husband got the Stromboli and he couldn?t stop RAVING. We fullyplanned on getting desserts but by the end of our meal, we figured we wouldn?t want to eat again for days! ???? service wasgreat too, our waitress was awesome. I love how CLEAN this place always is. Truly a gem of a spot. Next time we?re gettingbreakfast food!!! Read more

Went for a Sunday late lunch. Understandably busy, 35mins waiting time. You must come in here ready as there is servings are... massive! Order accordingly so that you wont be overwhelmed. Distinct taste, cozy ambience. Could improve a bit withattentiveness, other than that all good. It's worth a try ???? Read more

Our AirBnB suggested Max & Louie's, and my husband and I were NOT disappointed at all! The service was spectacular as was the... food! We ordered the pastrami chili cheese fries, and they were generously and evenly topped with all the cheese and toppingsyou could ask for! They also had an assortment of dessert that looked INCREDIBLE! And the decor and music all made you feel likeyou were being transported into a 1950s style diner, which was kind of cool! Read more

Amazing food and service. Charles was our waiter and he was the best. We saw a YouTube video of the restaurant and decided to... give it a try. One tip you will like....use yelp and get on the wait-list before you arrive. The restaurant is very popularand for good reason, food is great and will not disappoint. Read more

Thank goodness for this delicious place. The service is amazing, the food is amazing, the wait is long but totally worth it!!... Bring your appetite because the servings are enormous. We had the breakfast tacos and the chili cheese omelet. Both weredelicious and we were shocked that a New York place had delicious salsa. The french toast was calling my name but I'm trying tobe good and lose weight. So I told it to shut up, but dang it looks good!!! Read more

Great spot that brings the nostalgia as a fellow New Yorker. The aroma is fresh bread and bagels right when you walk in. I... ordered a Belgian waffle and hash browns. My partner got the Eggs Benedict. We both enjoyed our food. I got fresh-squeezedorange juice, which was delicious and refreshing. Service was fast and our server was pleasant and professional. I woulddefinitely return. Read more

service is great here from the moment we were waiting till we finish our meal. It? expensive for sure I got chili and cheese on... top but? the cheese cost me $2 extra dollars.. the chili is 100% worth it tho. Had the Philly cheese steak omelette. Was goodbut not quite worth the price. Next time I?ll go will the pancakes that looked so good. The Hungarian stuffed cabbage was good. Was similar to have meat loaf stuffed in a water spaghetti sauce and wrapped in cabbage of course. Huge meal, would be great forsomeone who loves meatloaf but was a little over priced for me. Lastly we tried the garlic bagel which was Interesting becausethe bagel itself was perfect but the garlic bits attached were burnt. Seems like temp and bake time may need to be adjusted abit but over all good and the scallion cream cheese was excellent. Will definitely be buying some more bagels and cream cheeseto take to go. FRESH ORANGE juice!! Can never go wrong with fresh juice and this truly was. Definitely get the orange juice! Read more
