The employees here went above and beyond, especially the gal who helped me - I wish I had gotten her name. I was looking for... candles for my mom and didn?t quite know what I was supposed to get. Either way not only did the lovely staff member help mefind what I was looking for but when I almost left the a different kind of candle she chased me out to my car. My mom ( who wason the phone ) and I were both impressed. We appreciate her and her kindness and thoughtfulness. Thanks again! Read more

My family and I buy from this location quite often we enjoy the Bundt cakes but the customer service at this location honestly... isn?t worth one star if I could give none I would. The employees at this location never make myself nor my husband feel welcomedwhen we go to the Bandera location. Yesterday?s visit to the store was the final time that we will purchase from this location.We weren?t greeted once we walked in by either employee nor were we asked if we needed help we were the only ones in there whenwe entered so it?s not like they were busy. An older lady was sweeping by the front door and another younger employee wasstanding behind the register. Not to long after we entered 3 other customers entered and both employees greeted them and askedif they needed any help and if they had any questions feel free to ask. The employees was super friendly and welcoming which wastotally opposite from the way my husband and I experiences when we walk into this establishment. Once my husband and I decidedon the flavors that we wanted we had to ask for help the entire experience was definitely awkward, uncomfortable andunwelcoming. The transaction was totally silent other than when she gave us our total my husband handed her his military ID andour punch card even though she never asked if we had either one of those but since we buy from them so often we knew to giveboth of those items along with our form of payment she punched our new card b/c with this purchase we completed the old one shegave us our 7 bundtlets in a bag and gave him his military card back along with our form of payment our new punch card anddidn?t say anything to us. We did notice as other customers completed their transaction they were thanked and told to have anice day but not us. Nothing was said to us needless to say we are disappointed with our experiences with this location and Ihate to say it but we definitely have a feeling why we are treated this way every time we go. Love this little gem!! Always the sweetest employees and a stellar product every single time. They make the cutest gifts or just... a delicious treat for yourself. They even wrap them up in cellophane with a ribbon and they make the cutest little treat tower.The red velvet is incredible, and I prefer the bundtinis for portion size... but they're all wonderful. No doubt why this place has 5 stars rating. It was my first time there and I liked both the service and the store decoration.... The staffs are helpful and friendly. The cupcakes taste awesome. They even have sample for us to try. I want a variety so Ibought a dozen of cupcake to replace a birthday. I liked all of them. I?m glad that I had found a great cupcake closed to home. Read more
