First time here. Shrimp and steak was great. Rice pilaf was good. The appetizer was great. How they get the fries to stay crispy... under all that cheesy goodness is beyond me. Now I don't normally go out to eat most of the time but on this day Mother's Day and My 8th birthday ???? oh my the FOOD itself... was impeccable, Outstanding and superb. Hot fresh and ready for my stomach to devour. However this couldn't be better than theservice and it was. DAVID!! My server was incredible and very well spoken, kind generous and very reliable if I do say so myselfhe was punctual and always make sure that we had our refills when it was only just half a glass. Take it from me I've beenworking at Golden corral buffet for 6 years ever since 2013 and I know how it is a server. He gave us his back story I told himmy backstory and my future plans as well as he did. Even other servers on that day were very well-mannered kind and courteousand explain that there was a weight limit of course due Mother's Day always a busy time with restaurants which isunderstandable. My mother enjoyed herself she Non-Stop on the way home talked about the rice that she eaten that day. And as Iwrite this review in my experience she still talks to this day and we're already in the month of June she's not going to stopwanting that right I'm going to have to come back and return and make sure that David is our server again. I appreciate howeveryone did their time and explained how and what the weight limit would be didn't matter to me as long as I got to eat Iwasn't in no rush. Based on my photos that I have presented I advise everyone to come to outback steakhouse and enjoyyourselves. Had a nostalgic meal out with the wife to one of our favorite date night spots from the past. We got all of our old favorites,... the cheese fries, bread and butter, potato soup, a pair of steaks, and added in some new favorites like the Tasmanian Chili andsmoked Old Fashion. The drinks were great, I can't tell you how cool the smoked Old Fashion was. The steaks were perfecttemperature but not seasoned the greatest. The chili was amazing. Cheese fries were crispy nostalgic perfection. Service wasadequate. Didn't feel attentive and, quite frankly, felt bothered by us being there. Worst experience I have had in a restaurant. To sum it up, we had order the Queensland Pasta and received under cooked pasta... that was stuck together. When we reordered the same dish, it came back to us the same way plus it was cold. I then ordered aplain sweet potato so I could eat something and found a piece of onion! All of this in about 2 and a half hours of waiting. Ourwaitress then asked if we wanted a free dessert which I said yes. She then ask if anyone else at the table wanted cheesecake forthe inconvenience and we asked for a total of 3. She then comes back with the ticket for the replacement food we ordered insteadof the pasta and said the manager would not allow her to give us more than one dessert. The entire time, the other tables aroundus had similar complaints and send back food. At one point, the waiter from another table told them that ?they told me that?sjust how they make the food, sorry?. If your going to be raising prices, at the very least make the food edible. Our experience is always good here. Our waiter returned the wings we ordered, they never made it to our table because they were... not cooked right he said. We appreciated that. All food was fresh, considering we were there late. I had the 8oz Sirloin, somefried mushrooms, a Caesar salad, and my son had wings and steak. Read more
the service was great, but the steak was average. asked for a medium well but got a well done steak. For the price, I expected... a better quality steak; the steak was tough. The shrimp was cooked but the coating on the shrimp was very bitter spicy and onceI scraped it off, it was perfect. The chicken was cooked just right, it was soft and juicy. the house was average, nothing outof the ordinary. Overall great place for chicken but not for steak. Read more
