I was surprised how packed this place was on a Thursday, and were glad we got a table. Very nice complimentary assortment of... breads to start off dinner. Our waitress, a very nice lady, was a seasoned pro, ready to answer questions, make suggestions andtake orders. The "gigantic calamari" appetizer is something else...I wasn't as impressed as others in my party but itdefinitely is unique in it's size and texture: picture big meaty teardrop pieces, not rings. Did not like the dipping sauce! Thehouse salad w house dressing in nothing special, nothing but soft lifeless greens in a shiny glaze? But no flavor....chooseanything else if possible or at least a different dressing! After the uneventful start, everything else was delicious! The porkOsso Bucco was extremely tender and the gnocchi that came with it could'vestood alone as it'sown dish! The osso bucco sauce was super flavorful, and full of different spices. My wife was very pleased with her seafood linguini - "full of shrimp" she said, and my kids in love with their pasta dishes. The desserts were heavenly: warm apple tote, and Raspberry Crème Brûlée were ahit!! Wouldn't mind returning. Read more

Ms. Patti was amazing!! Very attentive, patient, and just a very sweet person. The reason for the 4 stars is I believe it's over... priced. Delicious food but too pricey. Read more

My date and I had a wonderful experience here today. We could tell the staff was slammed as a couple of servers apparently... called in sick. Nevertheless, our server, a young, slender woman, whose name I forgot, was a model of grace and courtesy. Ourorder of wine and main dishes were promptly filled and we enjoyed an hour or so of pleasant conversation and dining while shecontinued to attend to our needs. She kept thanking us for our patience, I don't think she realized thru her busy time how wellshe was keeping us. Wine was awesome, food was delicious and our date was a success. Thank you! Read more

Was really excited to try a custom dish that our server recommended, but that was ruined when I found a long hair mid bite in my... salad. I literally pulled it out from my mouth, I almost threw up. I lost my appetite and asked for the check. Our server andmanagement were apologetic and comped the meal, however that doesn’t change the fact that I found hair in my food. Read more

One of our closest friends “dead-headed“ into San Antonio (SAT) and wanted to grab dinner before he flew out the next... morning. We decided Paesanos in Lincoln Heights was a good choice. They took our reservation and we were able to park close tothe entrance, walked in and we were seated immediately! Our friend looked over the wine list and selected a Pinot Noire that wasexcellent… We were served a warm loaf of bread with utter and we spent some time catching up. ordered a Caprice Salad to shareand each of us ordered a different entree. My wife decided on the Goat cheese pizza, I ordered the Snapper Paesanos and ourfriend ordered the Chicken Francesca dish. I am a seafood aficionado and this was actually the best Snapper dish I’ve everhad! It was a wonderful evening with a close friend and Paesanos was absolutely the best place we could have selected. We areheaded back soon! Read more
