Great find on a trip to San Antonio. Great ambiance and decor. It feels very welcoming and has a great patio. You start your... meal with chips and salsa, the chips were tasty and they give you two salsas. One salsa is a little spicier with a smokyundertone, but you won’t be able to stop eating it. The drinks were delicious, we had a Mojito and a traditional Margaritawith Mango flavor. The ceviche appetizer was excellent, it’s the perfect size for 2-3 people to share. We also had theStreet Tacos and Beef Enchiladas Tradicionales. Both meals had great flavors and the servings were just the right size. Makesure you get the borracho beans which complimented the meal perfectly. The service was ok, although the entire staff wasfriendly. Paloma blanca offers a great atmosphere and great food. The smoky house salsa is very good. I was able to try the enchiladas... verdes and the enchiladas 09. The variety of sauces between all of these was awesome. The chamorita is also phenomenal. Flavorsare taste very fresh. Read more

Birthday lunch for my wife was excellent at Paloma Blanca. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday, but the service... was great. My wife had the ‘09 Enchiladas plate, I had the Enchiladas Verdes lunch plate and my son had the Flautas lunchplate. The food was great and fresh. Since we sat outside, there were quite a bit of flies but not a deal breaker. One of theguests did have a lap dog which was discouraging given that there is plenty of signage that prohibits pets. Nice atmosphere, fresh ingredients, top notch customer service. Would recommend the guacamole prepared tableside. Had the... tilapia lunch special, with salad & rice. Good price, waiter was attentive. Only downside was finding parking during the lunchrush. Read more

Stopped lunch with our daughter and son-in-law while visiting San Antonio. Our order was taken and the food arrived shortly... later, perfect time. Our server took good care of us, promptly bringing us more drinks and chips. The food was really good! Ihad the De Camaron and it was perfect. I really enjoyed the poblano corn white rice. The not so great: XXXXXX our event coordinator was not very helpful from the 1st contact I made with her nor did she offer... anything other than ok we can do that, here's the paperwork , send the deposit. Mind you I started this process in the summerconsidering COVID restrictions and the fact that it could all be cancelled at any time. So here was the issue: I wanted to addto their buffet selection but XXXXX flat out said no we don't do that...I said ummm ok...why would this restaurant not want toadd to the tab/tip total & experience? She gave me an excuse of being busy and filling in for others...I get it, staffshortages etc. Ok, I let it go. The REALLY GOOD - Day of the event the manager on duty Anna I believe made me feel immediatelywelcomed and asked if they could do anything for us/me> I said, well, yes, as a matter of fact we would like to add enchiladasto the buffet which I was told by XXXXX you could not accommodate> The server's around her were like...what??? ..let's see whatwe can do...Anna made a phone call...bam...request honored. I knew right then this was going to be a great experience for ouremployees and it was. The service was beyond our expectations from the timing of the food service to the stellar attentivenessand pleasant & accommodating professional demeanor of the servers and their support team and the genuine thought and care thestaff gave to our group to ensure everyone had what they needed or wanted. We can be a picky group about going outside theparameters of the set menu sometimes but we compensate for that and treat all servers with the same respect we would expect andif they are unable to accommodate then so be it, but not here, if they had what their guest wanted, they gladly made sure itappeared on our table. We visited the restaurant while visiting our son in San Antonino and found the dishes very close to the real good Mexican food.... I tried mole and I liked it. The place is nice and the waiter was very friendly and serviceable. The Margaritas are very good bythe way. Read more
