We just found this little place for great tacos with character and good margaritas. Rusty Taco has been open for a bit, but we... hadn't tried it until tonight. For us, it hit exactly the spot we needed: Fresh ingredients and great taste, goodpresentation, tasty margaritas, and excellent (light and fluffy) chips to go with the queso we ordered. We did have to wait fora bit for our order (~30 mins) after arriving just after 6 pm on a Friday evening. Apparently everybody arrives then, as theyhad been slammed and it took the team a while to catch up. Luckily, we had our chips and queso to go with the margs. Next timewe'll get there before 6 to beat the crowd AND take advantage of the 3-6 pm Happy Hour that we didn't know about. The venueitself is very cool, and typical of many you see go up near the younger set's apartment complexes, with seating inside, outside, and in this case the separate bar also open to the outside. We sat outside, as there was cloud cover and a breeze and currenttemps aren't hella hot. Will be even better out there in a couple of months. We tried 4 different taco types: one with grilledshrimp, the grilled shrimp Acapulco, the tropical shrimp, and the dynamite shrimp. All were excellent. Not huge portions, butfor us they were just right with two each, along with the chips. My wife had their Rusty frozen margarita and I tried thepineapple habanero, which I really liked. Bottom line: We really enjoyed our first experience and look forward to coming backto try more of the menu items. Read more

Was told by a friend to check this place out so we did tonight. The shrimp diablo and pineapple shrimp tacos were awesome.... prices were good I think $4.50 and $3.75 for the two tacos. The habanero margarita was ok, I think they forgot to dress the rim. That was $7.00 I think. Would definitely go back! Read more

First time, it was decent, I'd come back. We got the guacamole to start, it was definitely homemade and chunks of avocado. We... got the brisket nachos, migas taco and Acapulco taco. The problem is that the tacos have too much filling. They could cut 25% ofthe food and it would be more than enough and easier to eat. The drinks were good and super inexpensive, it wasn't "loco" hoursbut somehow my margarita was $3.00 and a Michelada was $2.75. Like I said, I'd come back, but nothing amazing. Read more

I make a mean guacamole. This is as good, if not better than mine. Fresh onions, tomatoes, and avocado. The chips were warm,... light and crispy. I had the picadillo and spicy fried chicken tacos. Both were very good, except for the store bought corntortillas. I will come back and try out some breakfast tacos. Breakfast was okay. The flour tortillas aren't homemade either, which is disappointing. The breakfast menu says served all day. We tried to order a brisket taco and we were told they don'tserve brisket until 10 am. So, not all day. Read more

Yummy ???? the Philly Cheese Taco and the Roast Park w Green Chile taco were awesome. So much flavor!! We came on opening day... around noon and it was pretty busy but we still got our tacos pretty quick. The margaritas are awesome too. I believe I just gotthe house margarita and it still had a good amount of kick to it!! Not like some other restaurants whose frozen margaritas tastemore like frozen lemonades lol! Hmm ???? might have to come visit my girlfriend more often for lunch since she works down thestreet! The dining area is huge too, and they have a bar with TV?s with a sliding glass door that opens to stay in the patio butstill stay seating at the bar! Probably when summer comes around that?s where you?ll see me kicking it at! Read more

We tried every taco on the menu and these are our thoughts. The Black Bean Taco is my favorite because it?s something I would... have never thought went together, it just works. It has Chipotle black beans, pico, cotija cheese, cilantro, toasted pumpkinseeds. Overall the tacos, Queso and guacamole are delicious. You could compare these to velvet taco or torchys. Watch outbecause They have a habanero sauce that is extremely hot. We also liked the margaritas! Loved their awesome patio with hugepicnic tables! They are so roomy and comfortable! Read more
