This was my second visit to this restaurant. I had the 1/2 Snow Crab - 1/2 Shrimp boil, my second time as well, and it was as... before amazing. The boil comes with plenty of seafood and in a delicious sauce for a very reasonable price compared with othersimilar restaurants. The only down size is that you have to order the add on (potatoes, corn, etc.) separately but I candefinitely live with it. While I am a fan of the other similar restaurants, SA Seafood is hands down the best when it comes totaste and price. My wife had the shrimp LoMein and it was delicious as well. Choose this place for my bday lunch with my coworkers. Cozy little local spot with available seating when we went. I wanted... Cajun seafood....perfect place for it. Different options available for those who don't like seafood. Prices arereasonable. I'll review my meal last...lol just cause it was amazing and i want to give details. One coworker got friedcatfish with fries and the other coworker got lemon pepper chicken with fries. We also shared an order of jalapeno poppers. Fromwhat they said, it was good. I tried a wing and it was good, not dried, just the right about of seasoning. Catfish was alsogood, flakey and not mushy. Poppers were good too, nothing special, just poppers. Now for my meal...I ate good.....like goodgood!! My meal was amazing!!! I got half a pound of shrimp and half a pound of snow crab legs. Didn't get any sides for myself.I was very satisfied without it. I got the garlic butter flavor with this sauce on the side. I forgot what the sauce was calledbut it was magical....suuuuper delicious. I was given a crab cracker and went to town. Crab was easy to open, meat was juicy andflavorful. Finished all the crab cause I don't have a cracker at home. I ate a few shrimp but took the rest home. The shrimpwere plump and easy to peel. They too were just as flavorful just like the crab. If you haven?t been to SA Seafood, you are truly playing yourself. Hands down they have the best seafood boils in the city. I... have been to them all and none can match up to this. I love the boils and the sa spicy fries. They are simple and flavorful.It?s so much spice and flavor in every bite. The service is also amazing. Their only flaw is that they need a biggerestablishment. I order here at least once to twice a week. I would eat it everyday, but my doctor wouldn?t like that ????. This place is soo good, clean establishment, and pricing is pretty reasonable. The flavor is definitely there, love a restaurant... that seasons everything. The butter they give you on the side is also seasoned. Got a pound of spicy shrimp boil, spice was notoverbearing. Have to add on corn, potatoes, sausage, or eggs if you want them. A friend recommended this spot so had to come try it out and I'm glad we did cause it was Deeeeelicious ! I had the special,... Shrimp with Spicy Cajun fried rice and my friend had the snow crab and shell shrimp with potato and corn and maaan it was all sogood ! The serving of fried rice was alot, enough for the two of us. And the sauce that comes with it is ???? ! Definitelyrecommend others to give it a try. You can choose Spicy Hot, Medium or Mild, i had Medium and it was Spicy enough ! Not bad. The fries are probably the best thing we had. They have a seasoning on them that is good. The fried oysters are not... good here. Fish was good and the shrimp was ok. Also not a fan of the cardboard straws. Read more
I went there for lunch and I ordered the 2 catfish, 3 shrimp, 3 oysters and spicy fries on recommendation from an employee. It... came in a box that had a rubber band on it to keep it closed. I opened it and there was absolutely no way I was finishing thismonster of a plate. It came with 2 full size catfish filets, 3 large shrimps, and 3 oysters and a very large amount of fries. Idid finish one catfish and several shrimp. The breading on it was very tasty and thin. I loved it. I got a menu so I can seewhat to get next time I am there. Read more
??????: Enjoyed going here. Food: Got the 1/2 lb crab, 1/2 lb shrimp with sausage and corn with medium spice. Large serving... good enough for two people! The medium spice level wasn?t that spicy. I was expecting a bit more heat based on previous reviewsbut the flavors were good. The SA seafood sauce is addicting. Also got the fried rice combo with shrimp and crawfish. Rice wasdefinitely Al dente and needed a little help from the juice from the seafood boil. Service: Ordered takeout. It was readyquickly and the guys at the counter were very friendly.
