I?ve been going to the ship is donuts for a while. Just recently went again and if you haven?t been in a while you?re going to... be surprised how much their donuts are now!!!! They?ve gone up 30+% on there prices. I do understand that things have increasein prices but 30% increase is a little ridiculous. A box of glaze doughnut used to cost you $9 and now it?s $12.50. Sadly Imight be looking somewhere else to get donuts. Remember donuts are only flour, yeast, water, egg, and sugar. Very inexpensiveitems! Read more
We are visiting San Antonio for a short getaway with my daughter's 11th birthday being on our last day here. Our daughter isn't... a fan of cupcakes or cake, but she does like donuts! We found this specific Shipley Do-Nut while searching donut places nearour hotel. I reached out to them through thier Google page, and they responded pretty quickly. We were able to get the wholebirthday order taken care of through chat - including payment. They sent me a text thus morning letting me know the order wasready, which was a nice touch. When I arrived, we made sure it was good to go, and it was! The guys were very friendly andhelpful from beginning to end. And, the donuts were amazing as well. I ordered special "Happy birthday" donuts for my son's 16th birthday. The donuts were as delicious as I expect from Shipley's... but they were a little smaller than I was thinking they'd be. I would still order them again!! Read more
This place opened, my family was excited to visit. Stopped by picked up dozen donuts. 3.2 stars out of 5 stars. Location was... not busy. Plenty parking and place to grab a bite. Customer service was good & lady in there was polite. Donuts were fresh buthere is the reason i have decided never to go here again & support 100ft down local donut shop. Assorted donuts were packed into a small box, resulting in each icing droping off or was on the back of next donut. I didnt think any thing at the shop but athome it was a mess. My kids like different donuts so none of them ate any. Read more
5am, windy rainy November morning. A fresh, warm glazed donut from Shipley's is hard to beat! It's a 5 star donut. My overall... rating is 4 stars because their coffee is not my favorite. It's decent, but many other donut shops have better coffee. Read more
