yeah I understand why this place is so dead all the time. I arrived at 2pm today, They have really bad service. ordered a burger... and drink today and got an really old dried up burger patty had to be like 4 hours old or something it was disgusting. drink wasfine no complaints on that. waited 8 minutes at window and figured they were making the burger fresh or something since they hadno other customers. nope... I really don't understand how it took so long for 2 items and no customers and they end up giving meone of the oldest nastiest burgers I have ever received no joke. just saw the burger and took a nibble and throw it away so Iwould not get food poisoning. Store and lot always look nasty as well. From customer perspective this place looks and operatesrundown and it really shows that the owners and management do not care. on top of that the place does not do honor the 2 for 5sonic app deal. Lastly they put their DT only sign in the dead center of the lot so you have to go around it and good luck ifyou got a big truck as with my corolla I was barely able to clear it. If I had to guess they put if like that to try to keep thecustomers out idk. won't be going here anymore ill stick with whataburger down the road, they may take a bit to make your foodbut they actually give you an edible burger. I understand they are understaffed but i mobile ordered and ended up having to drive through the drive thru to let them know id... been waiting in stall 1 for them to come to the windows and ask me if I had ordered yet ???? I had two drinks and a small tot?ifI didn?t have to pay for mobile orders up front I would have just drove off. Then my tots and drinks were terrible. So it wasn?teven worth the wait. ???? BY FAR THE WORST SONIC LOCATION I?VE ever been to. The food taste terrible!! I ordered a chicken sandwich and got the absolute... NASTIEST sandwich I have ever seen. The owner of this location should consider shutting it down or let someone with theexperience and skill to maintain the reputation the Sonic franchise deserves. Horrible experience even for fast food! Stale, room temperature fries. I asked for a Protein Chicken burger, no buns. She... repeats it and sends me a piece of chicken wrapped in foil. Ubsurd! If you don't know or understand, ask. I get my meal after 3cars behind me. As I'm rushed off, I realize I didn't even receive napkins or ketchup! WORST SONIC IN SAN ANTONIO! Do yourself a favor and don?t visit this location. Drive down the street to In N Out. I have lived... down the street for three years, and they NEVER FAIL to find a place a way to NOT SERVICE YOU. Every DAMN NIGHT it?s- sorrydrinks only, sorry cash only, sorry only serving this tonight! They are lazy and are looking for a way to not take orders! Theyare RUDE and keep the lights off at night to scare you away. I can?t stand these people. With all these ?problems?, y?all needto TEAR down the store fire your lazy employees build a new location with employees that follow your core values! My gosh worstreputation in LIFE. As many others have stated if you want something from Sonic, do not go to this location. I know most places are short on staff... but this place is ridiculous. Seems to take 20+ minutes to get anything every time. I ordered a blast and hot fudge sundaethrough the app. Drove 5 minutes and have now waited over 25 min sitting waiting for it. If it wasn?t already paid for I?dleave. The staff were friendly when trying to figure out what happened but sadly that doesn?t make up for the constant delays. I love the food and the prices are very reasonable. Service can be iffy depending on the number of staff. It's both a... drive-through and bring-out-to-car establishment, so unless it's raining the atmosphere is okay. My only peeve is they have somany terrific drink choices but I still get stuck with unsweetened tea because I am lactose, sugar,and caffeine intolerant andcannot drink anything with carbonation. They removed from the menu one of the only things I could drink, their green tea. Read more
