This place right in the heart of San Antonio downtown serves very tasty Indian food - both veg and non- veg. Their masala tea is... one of the best versions of Indian masala chai. Food is not too greasy and tastes very authentic. BUT - the only problem istheir timings seem to be totally off. We had been there on couple of evenings hoping to get some chai only to come backdisappointed. They said they serve chai only in the morning which didn’t seem very convincing. Read more

First time at this location but the food and the service was above and beyond, when you go make sure you ask for Sai, real cool... guy took order, food came out hot and fresh. I came here to take a break from the usual riverwalk restaurants and left impressed with the quality and authenticity of the... food. I highly recommend trying the lamb sheesh kabob at spice level 2 or the chicken tikka masala at spice 1. Their butternaan was amazing. The rice and meats were cooked very well. Easy front door pick up. Nice and comfortable interior. Friendly and accommodating employees. Generous portions (about 2 cup... entree with 1.5 cups rice). Fish tikka masala had great flavor and plenty of fish. Paneer fried nicely in saag. Okra had goodflavor, not just spice. Tasty pakora was still crunchy with to-go order. Came to San Antonio for a conference and stopped by here. It was so good we came here twice during our short stay. The prices... were reasonable and the service was great. This is maybe the only indian place in downtown (scope for more restaurants in the location). The food was kind of hit or... miss: All the fried appetizers were good - Gobi manchurian, Chicken 65, Apollo fish, fried rice. However, the other dishes weremeh. Definitely authentic Indian cuisine! The food is delicious, but runs on the spicier side. You choose the spiciness based on a 1... to 5 scale. We are Mexican family so we have no problem with heat—but level 2 was too spicy for us ???? One of the dishes wasway too spicy for us to eat, and they happily remade it for us with no spice.
