So this was my second time coming to the 1604 location and i invited my family to come out and try it. It was really good. I did... not catch the guy that was helping us and he recommended some good stuff such as the Hibachi roll and the Valentine roll alongwith The Hibachi vegetable dish which my cousin had and she said it was really good. We also tried the mushroom soup which isreally good. Love the broth. I had the hibachi roll and the Valentine roll which had raw sushi on them both.( tuna, salmon&escolar fish) and he came out with this sauce which had soy sauce, ponzu, lemon juice and very thin slices of jalapenos. It wasvery good and not to spicy. We will be back and plus its 20% off between 3pm & 6pm. Good service and the food is fresh and comesout looking amazing. I forgot to take the picture of the soup. Went on a family trip to San Antonio, and we decided on sushi. So glad I chose this place. Our server was excellent! He was... super sweet and attentive. The sushi was phenomenal! Had an amazing experience here! We had the el toro roll, Texas roll and the paradise roll all of which were delicious and fresh.... Had the fatty tuna and seabass nigiri to start which was also great. Tried the wonton and the mushroom soup and both were oknothing amazing but still tasty enough. Overall had a great experience and our server Alex was very nice and helped us make allof the choices along the way. Can not remember name of app but it was beef wrapped around a green onion and cream cheese mixthat was also tasty. Overall a good experience and having good service made it that much more enjoyable! Will never order from this restaurant or go back again. This is what I ordered: 5 pieces of sea urchin sashimi according to... doordash. The picture is what I got. Not even a single intact uni. Anyone who knows uni knows it is delicate and should beintact as much as possible. I got chopped bits in a soy sauce container. That?s $30 of uni according to the belligerent managerwho refused to own up to the mistake, and instead argued back to me condescendingly. I?ve eaten uni in pretty much every sushiestablishment in town and elsewhere. He said they sell by weight not piece. If that?s the case, they still need to change theirDoorDash account to prevent misleading information. He was extremely rude and just told me to call DoorDash. They just lost aloyal customer. The last time I was there I dropped close to $200 on my meal. Thank God there are more sushi restaurants openingup so this pitiful excuse of an establishment will be forced to clean up their dirty practices or close up shop. Read more

Told them I was allergic to shrimp or seafood shrimp on the plate. They wouldn?t take it off my order. They got some of our... sushi rolls wrong. Then the young manager got upset at me completely unprofessional. Worst customer service! Ask to speak withhim owner owner and was told he was an old Chinese man and didn?t speak English. Very good food, clean restaurant, great service, generous portions. Lots of choices that should satisfy anyone looking for... sushi. The only ding on the place is that the prices are very high (similar in price to an all you can eat sushi restaurant). Read more
