We stop here every time we visit San Antonio. It's our go to breakfast spot. I've tried several different breakfast tacos. My... favorites are the chorizo and potato, or sometimes I'll add egg to make it a chorizo, egg, and potato taco. This helps to absorbsome of the chorizo grease. The tortillas are always delicious and the salsa bar is always well stocked. The employees arefast, efficient and so friendly! My husband's go to favorite is the tostada, and I've heard great things about the trash cantaco which has a little bit of everything. My son is a big fan of the basic bacon & egg taco and we order the little one eggsand beans and she loves it! I know there are lots of taco places in SA, but Tacos n' Salsa is a stand out. Me and my wife were in the area and wanted to try and new food place out for breakfast. And boy! What a good call!!! Tacos are... fat and delicious!! This place is so good! 1. The employees are so nice. I feel terrible about not paying attention to names, I kind of got too... excited with the food . The cashier was able to have a conversation even with a line. She smiled and genuinely seemed, friendly.There was a guy filling the the pico de Gallo and he was working quickly and still had time for a conversation. It sounds sillybut I feel like there are so few employees that are actually nice that this was a very pleasant surprise. They are super fastand bring the food to your table, even better! 2. The tacos are amazing. My husband told me to try the trash can and I wanted tothe bacon and potato. Both so good and so full. This place has some of the best barbacoa tacos I've ever had. The corn and flour tortillas are on point. Order the chorizo and... egg, carne guisada, and barbacoa tacos for breakfast or lunch and you will thank me later. The tacos are overstuffed, which iwasn't complaing about. I was here on opening day of this restaurant 8 years ago and it?s been great to watch this family owned business prosper. Happy... to see the next generation building on what their parents started. They make great food and couple it with a friendlyatmosphere and fantastic customer service. I?ve moved away from SA but make it a point to stop here EVERY time I?m in town.
