The most flavorful red curry I've had in a long time! The optional spice levels are also very enjoyable knowing that I could... choose how to eat this delicious food! The lunch special was worth it! Soup to start off and a sweet or unsweetened tea comeswith the meal. Definitely will be coming back! Heard a new location opening soon too! Read more

I love Thai Hut. I've been coming here at least once a month for the last ten years. (Random aside: I don't ever call out other... reviewers, but someone gave Thai Hut low stars because they didn't get chopsticks with their meal. Not having chopsticks isn't ared flag with Thai food. That's an ignorant comment because people from Thailand generally eat with a fork and a spoon, and theyonly use chopsticks for noodles.) Like most Asian restaurants in San Antonio, Thai Hut gives you silverware to eat with. I fullyappreciate that they also offer Chinese food options for those who don't like Thai food. I've brought several people here wholove the Chinese dishes, particularly the sesame chicken. I personally am obsessed with the pad woon sen, but the other Thaidishes are excellent. The food comes out quick and it's always fresh tasting. You get a lot more to eat at dinner, but lunch isgreat because you get a small bowl of soup and a big egg roll. You can choose how much spice you want in your meal, even if it'sno spice. The servers are friendly and helpful. The price point is great. The parking lot is good sized but a little awkward sopractice patience driving through it. They also have bubble tea and Thai tea. You can call ahead and get the order to go. Read more

They're a bit spendy but have very good lunch specials, even though they're now $10.50 (after tax). My green curry was nicely... spicy and very warm, so they must make cook as needed. The only thing I didn't like was the hot and sour soup, which was neitherhot (spicy) nor sour. (A friend from Hong Kong used to add vinegar if it wasn't sour enough, but they didn't have any on thetable.) The place isn't large, but it was full, so it seems very popular. Read more

Came here for lunch with my family on a Sunday. I'm vegan and they are not. I ended up getting a super tasty tofu pad see ew.... The menu we were handed was sort of tiny with not many options and I didn't even realize they only had lunch specials going atthe time. (The waitress failed to explain this to us) So when she brought us all soup before the actual food came out we wereconfused. She then explained it's part of the lunch special, tea, soup and a spring roll. I had to clarify I was vegan and sheexplained the soup had chicken in it. She hadn't made that connection before when I ordered a tofu dish no meat but no worries.I did confirm with her the spring roll was veggie only and no meat. I had also ordered a ramune soda not realizing tea came withthe meal for free. Again, she hadn't specified but no biggie. I'm definitely down to come here again as the food was good. I'djust like to see maybe more vegan appetizers like some fried tofu? Also some vegan soups if you are going to make soup mandatorywith the "lunch". Read more

This is Thai food for people who don't like authentic Thai food. When the Thai menu offers Chinese food, and they don't... automatically give you chopsticks, that's a big red flag. We had 3 dishes, one was so salty that it was barely edible....and Ilove salt. The Tom Yum was missing key flavors, and tasted more like Italian tomato soup. The Laab was real bland...no spiceflavor, no fish sauce flavor, mostly just ground meat. I was shocked how popular the restaurant seemed. I've spent 6 monthsin Thailand, and many many years in Asia....this was not Thai food. The service was very good, and the people were kind.. Theambiance was decent as well. I wanted to like it, but I won't be back. Read more

It was my first time trying Thai hut. It was good. I got the sesame chicken and my husband got the chicken pad Thai. It comes... with a soup and tea for $8.69. The workers here are all so friendly and nice. They kept up with drink refills and brought me aTogo container without me even asking. Overall everything was great. Will be back again. Read more
