I haven't eaten here, but I did check out the museum. Check out their website on buying tickets information. There is so much to... see here. A large section about the Texas Rangers with individual stories and many personal items on display. A whole coolsection on Bonnie and Clyde, including a shot-up vehicle. A seemingly never-ending collection of taxidermy animals. Aninteractive western town replica. A set of fun optical illusions. Its a fun and interesting and unique museum that feels veryTexan. Some of the signs have typos on them, but overall this is a fun, interesting museum you can get lost in! I love all the time and... energy they put into it! The narrators are pretty cool. Signs help you know where everything is. The gift shop is also verylovely! And the workers seem to have a big heart for what they do! If you've never visited the oldest saloon in Texas and youever get a chance, I highly recommend! Read more

WOW! We stopped here for a drink & to peruse the gift shop not realizing we'd stumbled onto an amazing old saloon/museum filled... with wild west artifacts & mounts of all kinds from fish & alligators to giraffes & elephants from the zoo. Coming from AZ we'dvisited many old saloons in our ghost towns, but this.... this was an experience!! It's free to browse the gift shop & grab adrink at the saloon, but for ~ $23/pp you can go into the Texas Ranger Museum (well worth the price). Complete with old westerntown, artifacts & incredible mounts of animals of all kinds it's like being in the wild west. Interesting documentation ofhistoric events keeps you busy for hours. This is definitely a must-see spot in San Antonio. The Buckhorn is great for familieswith kids (price lower for under 16), educational and fun. Recommended for all ages. Read more

We love museums and couldn't pass up the chance to check this place out. I will say I was surprised at how pricey it is however... there is a lot to see so it did feel like it was worth it. There's some cool Texas ranger history, and a bunch of taxidermyanimals to check out! The only negative feedback I have is that there were quit a few things that were out of order or notworking properly. Also, there were a lot of things that weren't labeled or explained. It would of been nice to have adescription because some of the things hanging on the walls are so bizarre it would be cool to have an explanation to go withit. Overall we had fun and I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. Read more

The place is nice, the main hall is lovely with a lot of history and character but hey, mind your wallet! Everything from the... museum to the beers is overpriced. Ans I mean it, really expensive. The museum is not worth the money so l, come in for theatmosphere l, have a beer and enjoy a the pint, but would not suggest to indulge for more. Read more

This was a completely enjoyable surprise. The past was presented in a unique and sometimes frightening way. There were so many... animal (nonliving) displays. It is worth the visit. At first I thought it was too expensive but 4 hours reading and listeningto history specifically to SA and I will go back and see more. Read more

Ok... its the most touristy thing you could probably do in San Antonio. Overall it almost boarders on tacky... and without... hesitation I would do it again!!! I loved everything about it AND the collection of memorabilia from the Texas Rangers isoutstanding! So... if you have a thing for history, law enforcement, shrunken heads and stuffed animals ( very impressivecollection) I highly recommend stopping in. Staff was friendly and the food not bad at all. Oh... and Buffalo Bill'sdoppelganger greets you at the ticket booth. Read more

To start first, the restaurant is okay, not bad. If you're eating here you're coming for the atmosphere. What really makes this... place shine is the museum. This museum is by far one of my favorite museums I've ever seen. So much detailed and fascinatinghistory is covered and captured here. I'd highly recommend this museum to anyone and I'd probably come back again. Read more
