I love Torchy's Tacos and this is my favorite location in San Antonio because the quality is always good. It's cool to have an... Austin franchise in SA. This location can get busy during the week since it's in the medical area, but it's usually calm on theweekends. I'm not a fan of seafood but everything else is so good. The veggies are typically fresh. The little salsa sides arefun to try out. This is the best spot for street tacos but they are expensive. I always eat three tacos and it's about $15. Read more

The frozen sangria swirl is crazy good! Definitely stole the show (and that says a lot because the tacos are next level!). I was... impressed with how big this place is! There's outdoor seating as well which is perfect for a cool day like today. I had thetrailer park (trashy) and brush fire tacos...both were very flavorful and delicious! The tortillas were a challenge to close(which is a good thing lol). The tomatillo salsa is well balanced; not overly salted or spicy. The chips are light and crispy.Service was fantastic and I couldn't walk out without leaving a cash tip for the amazing experience. I will most definitely comeback! Read more

I usually truly enjoy this restaurant. They have a nice set of options and a different take on tacos, great food. Nothing is... wrong with the taste. Unfortunately, they seem to becoming very chinche (stingy) with amount of food. My taco, that is 5dollars, is smaller than a pack of cards. This has not always been the case... Read more

Flavor: B Service: B Tea: B Solo dining: A I wish I could love this place because the tacos are super-creative and unique.... Unfortunately everything is too spicy for me - including the guacamole. I know that makes me sound like a wimp (and I kind of amwhen it comes to heat) but I promise the fire is heavy-handed on all the things. Maybe that's why it's called Torchy's. The vibeisn't super-friendly, they were out of sweet tea, and it's rather loud. That drops this to a not-likely-to-frequent category forme but if you love spice you might fall in love. Read more

First time here. They were fair. Very different from tacos I'm use to in San Antonio. I had the Crossroads and the taco of the... month the Tipsy Chick. Both tasted good. Didn't like the fact that they put corn shuck hairs in the food. We also had theGuacamole and chips. It was good and an extremely large portion. We shared a bowl of the Street corn. It was terrible in ouropinion. The corn kernels were dried up and chewy. There was no mayo but there was a chili powder type of paste on top thatjust didn't taste good. And of course. Corn shuck hairs. May probably return. Haven't completely written this establishmentoff quite yet. Read more
