Service was out standing. Fast and courteous, never been here before but I was extremely please with the Service. My date... wanted good beer batter fish. I wanted soft broccoli. Melanee was honestly the best waitress ever. She was super sweet and very professional. Everything we ate she recommend... appetizers we had chicken nachos, definitely a must! hubby got a burger I got salmon, we also celebrated our anniversary and gottreated the best cookie brownie combo ever! Before 6:30pm there usually isn't a wait. This is your best bet for not waiting hours to be seated in La Cantera. The food and... service are both excellent. There's plenty of diverse food options, including gluten free and vegan options. There are manybeers on tap. There's booth, bar, and table seating. There's outdoor seating. Absolutely amazing service & food. Anthony is GREAT! Would totally recommend. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, & fast! Husband... said almost the best burger he?s eaten, the tacos were great, chicken lettuce wrap was amazing, along with the super lightamazing cake! 0 complaints with the food or drinks. Loved my whole meal experience. The shrimp bowl was made as requested, the shrimp weren't over cooked, and overall the meal... tasted delicious. The chocolate cake looked like it would be overly sweet but was not at all. Normally, I can only get a fewbites before I'm in sweetness overload. However this cake was moist, had just the right amount of sweetness, and the icing wascreamy and smooth with mild sweetness and mini chocolate chips in it. I ate it all! :) The waitress/server was like a ninja withthe drink refills which was spectacular considering how packed the restaurant was. Someone at my table mentioned that with thetablets whether servers were really needed however our server's timing and food updates made our experience great. A tabletcouldn't do that. Thanks! We had a great lunch!!!!! The Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, perfectly seasoned. I didn't want a heavy... lunch so I ordered the cod sandwich and fries, minus the bun ..... it was super Delicious!!! My lunch date had the BBQ chickenwings and they were cooked to perfection. I've been waiting years to experience Yard House. Used to frequent here for happy hour when i stayed in SA. I absolutely love... their jambalaya with jasmine rice. Outstanding...seasoned well, a great portion of sausage, chicken, shrimp, and crawfish. Theygive a good amount of sauce (i hate when restaurants are skimpy on sauce). Highly recommended, great atmosphere, attentiveservers. Go experience the food. My experience was as good as I remember it being when I came to this location 8 yrs ago. Read more
