Getting ready to leave San Antonio and needing to charge Tessie, we decided to go to Yummi?s on a whim. It was truly the best... decision. Our waiter, Nath, was such a helpful and attentive young man. The tempura shrimp and mixed vegetables were on point.Ed had the Las Vegas roll which was so fresh and chilled to perfection. I had the cucumber Paradise which can only be describedby the word summer. It, of course, was fresh and chilled but light, crisp and so tasty. Very good service and it wasn?t too busy as we went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Nigiri Sushi was good. Spicy tuna tacos... was the highlight for me, and my 17 year old inhaled the shrimp and vegetable tempura combo. Read more
Fine sushi and sashimi selection with elegant atmosphere. The food arrangements exude beauty.
Came here after a day of deciding where to eat in the area. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance. There is a soothing... instrumental tune playing as you eat. The menu is varied and it includes several traditional dishes. They do serve complementarymiso soup (tofu). The rolls and the nigiri were excellent and made fresh. There are several things I got to try but did not getpictures of. Service is excellent with our waitress always available and ready to help with any questions we had. Found a new favorite! Every bite was as good as the first, def a must try if you are in the area. Service - phenomenal. We got... the Las Vegas roll and the Godzilla. Both were fantastic, the crab was huge on the Godzilla! And super crunchy. My taste budswere blown away, didn?t even have to use soy sauce, wasabi and ginger to compliment, was really great without anything. GreatJob Yummi! Read more
