Our experience was one of the worst I have ever had while eating out. We showed up with a party of 7, they said they didn’t... have a spot for a party our size and it could take 30-40min. We were fine waiting so we did. We were seated after waiting 15min.They put all 7 of us at a 4 person table. This should’ve been a warning to us. Our waitress took our drink order thenreturned for our food order. We ordered a medium pizza, burger, 3 kids pizzas & kids burgers. The waitress returned to say thecouldn’t do the burger but could do the kids burger. We waited 45minutes for our food to start coming out. The kids burgersnever came. Our waitress left and the waiter took over. He told us they couldn’t make the kids burgers and we had to picksomething else. We chose the kids pizza, the waiter said it would be 2min, 10min items later we finally had our food. We wantedto order dessert but the waiter said all the tickets were in the red so it would probably be 30/45min, we passed. They wereunderstaffed but continued to seat people and take orders. The table next took us waited 45min just to order. Managementshouldn’t have let them continue to seat people if they didn’t have the staff to handle it all. This would’ve been a 1star review but the manager comped our entire meal so it is a 3 star review. Read more

I am torn. I really wanted to like this place. First they had a limited menu no big deal. Restaurant was not overly clean. Wait... staff was very friendly but disappeared. Good was excellent we had a couple mini pizzas and kids tenders. Over all we weresitting waiting for our bill. We ended up asking the staff member to just get our bill instead of ordering dessert. Went almost at closing time. Service was great. Ordered bbq chicken pizza. Pizza was okay.

My tomato mozzarella salad was the saddest thing I have seen come from BJs. I ordered delivery so I could not show the... restaurant how ridiculous my poor salad is. A BUNCH of greens, five little cheese balls and a quartered tomato…maybe 8 piecesof itty bitty diced red onion. So pitiful. I thought I ordered a Tomato Mozzarella salad which used to be barely any greens andlots of cheese and tomatoes. I asked for extra dressing and got two different types. Come on BJs!! The two stars are for my broc/cheese soup (including the filmy layer on top) and my lukewarm soggy over-seasoned brussel sprouts. You can see the seasoningcaked on the side of the container. Worst service ever… had to ask after 15 min for our drinks. ordered salad with no tomatoes, salad came out with tomatoes. Had... to ask for our waters again.. our food came out cold and soggy, manager had the whole table remade.. At first when we wereseated i notice her other tables had extra cups and dirty dishes, nothing had been clear from the table Til dessert came out.Which is a huge nono in the restaurant world. At least as for me as a waitress up north. Should always clear plates especiallyif stacked on table by customer Biggest issue is lack of attentiveness by server… even walking by and noticing customer isnttouching food should be a sign to ask if everything is ok, which she didnt. Wait times are nuts.. shouldnt take more then ahalf hour for a dessert(ice cream and churros) We sat there for 2 1/2 hours last night. To order a mini pizza and a sandwich…it was obviously our food sat in the window for to long. Yes they remade our food but by then we were tired and ready toleave. Amazing service, food and drinks! We were looking for a good restaurant for lunch after our wonderful hike at Mori Point. We... were super hungry and tired after the hike. We ended up going to BJ’s at the San Bruno location. Our experience at BJ’sother locations in Bay Area wasn’t that good so didn’t really expect much from this place but to our great surprise thislocation was great, especially our waitress! Kids— Kids plate included mac n cheese, fries (shaped like smileys ????) andchocolate milk. Great portion for 2 toddlers to share and the smiley fries were an instant hit!! Adults— we ordered amargarita sampler which included 4 different fruity margaritas, IPA beer (was very good, sorry forgot the name…) , avocado eggrolls for starters (delicious) and spicy chicken noodles with nuts for entree (very tasty with the right mix of spice andcrunch) Hence 5 stars ?? ????
