Our all time favorites are fish tacos (used to be 3 per order but same price ????), and the seafood risotto which are both very... flavorful … as for the rest in the menu, you’re paying too much for the portions they serve. Overall, it was a good diningexperience, but way too over priced. Read more

Very small Japanese sushi restaurant in San Carlos. A bit hard to find the parking since they block the street. Very good... quality sushi and the sushi chef is very skillful. I just don’t really care for the kitchen part of food. Read more

Excellent service. Tasty food for the most part. Fish taco and tempura were great - crispy and tasty. The baby steam scallops... and the fish roe sauce in Mentaiko spaghetti were amazing. Finished with delicious matcha and yuzu cheesecakes. Sashimi omakasehad interesting fish and pairing sauces. Hokkaido Uni was yummy and good value. Seaweed was a bit soggy unfortunately buteverything else was excellent. Read more

Got the fish tacos, great balls of fire roll, mentaiko spaghetti, omakase nigiri and the Hokkaido cheesecake. The tacos and... spaghetti were delicious and super unique and I would go back for those. The sushi was sadly disappointing. $52 for 7 pieces andalthough they weren't bad, outside of the chuutoro and the hamachi, the other pieces were mediocre. I also echo another reviewerin saying that some of the pieces were way over wasabied. I would definitely go back to try more of their non-sushi dishes. Read more

First time be here. I assumed it's a Japanese Fusion restaurant. However, the Omakase Nigiri is surprisingly good. Service is... OK, just sometime we need to wait awhile. Too much choices, wish I have more room to try. Read more

Food: Filet mignon - disappoinment. Dry, tough, no beef flavor. Grilled squid leg - disappointment. Warm not hot, not grilled... long enough, no charcoal flavor. Sashimi set - average. Though we just came back from last month so there was nocomparison. Spider roll - pretty good. Sea food risotto - The Best dish all night. Flavorful, but instead of mussel, clamswould have been better. Sesame ice cream - Not much sesame flavor, too much milk and not enough sesame taste. Service: Poor.Everyone had to ask for water refill all night. Had to ask for wasabe as well. Pretty disappointing. Read more

First time dining and was pleased with the atmosphere and setting. The nigiri was fresh and the tempura was excellent. Loved the... selection of veggies. Both rolls were warm just fyi. So I had to finish the spicy tuna hand roll. Had two carafes of sake whichwas smooth and fruity. Will be back Read more
