My favorites on the menu are the Kouign-amann pastry, any of the muffins (high quality, healthy ingredients) and the drip... coffee. If I'm really hungry the breakfast croissant is also a solid choice. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We are locals in the area and the first time we came here we thought it was charming and that the back was a hidden gem.... However, each time we came back we noticed something off with the service, the food, the drinks. If you come for a quick muffinI would recommend it but if you want a good meal there are a couple spots a little further down the street that are a bettervalue and much better service. The last time we went I asked for an iced cappuccino and my husband got an iced latte, but theydelivered 2 lattes and then said something about how the ice dilutes and it is the same thing. I politely asked them to remakeit because I don?t like that much milk in my coffee and they said I would have to buy a new one. Penny wise and pound foolish.As a local and with a family of 4, I would be spending a lot more than $5 at their restaurant over the course of a year but theyjust wanted to make me an unhappy customer and try and collect another coffee fee instead and so now, unfortunately, I won?t beback. This visit was very disappointing. I ordered the Avocado Toast, which I order all the time, however, this time it was not good.... It was just avocado and paprika, it was nothing like I am used to. It didn't even taste the same. It only had paprika and 1cherry tomato and 5 pumpkin seeds. The worst I have ever gotten from here. What happened to this place? Read more

What happened lately?? The pastries at J?adore was always addictive and high quality. The last 4 orders of croissants and... muffins have been beyond disappointing. I was thrilled when this place opened in San Clemente. It was my go to place forcroissant, muffins, baguettes and sandwiches. Not sure if they have a new chef or management, but with this quality, I amcalling it quit on J?adore. I hope they can bring back the magic. Read more
