I loved san Clemente and the fisherman’s restaurant. Great atmosphere and clean restaurant with great food. Me and family went... here to meet relatives and being British, I tried the fish and chips. I’ve always said, you Americans love to make things yourown. The plate was cooked wonderfully and was full of flavour, the portion was huge and I couldn’t eat it all but what I couldeat, I enjoyed. One thing I’d add is mushy pea’s!! The setting was beautiful, on the pier, in line with the crashing waveson the beach, while the moonlight bounces of the ocean waves. If your looking for a beautiful sunset spot for date night, hereis the place you’ve been looking for. Read more

We picked a beautiful day to meet at the beach. I guess if I'm truthful I would say that it was just another day in San... Clemente. Because everyday is beautiful in San Clemente. The Fisherman is such a great location. Almost all of us had clamchowder and fish-and-chips. The food was outstanding. The fish had a terrific crunch and there was plenty of tartar sauce to goaround. We have eaten clam chowder up-and-down the California coast and the chowder I had this particular day was as good asanything I've had anywhere else. Lastly, I want to acknowledge the great service and conversation we received from our serverAlexis. Read more

Met with some friends here. Beautiful spot on the pier. Great atmosphere and serve staff were great and very attentive. We got... there around 3pm before the rush. It was very nice. It started getting busy around 5. We ate off the regular menu then noticelots of people carrying the same food and realized they have a sunset happy hour menu. It changes everyday and is veryreasonably priced. We already had to much so we will most definitely be back for it in the future. We had the shrimp backer andit was flavored and cooked to perfection. It reminded me of the shrimp my dad loved when I was a boy and brought back greatmemories of him. The restaurant is decided into two restaurants. Oyster on the north side and regular restaurant on the south.Different menus but same quality and environment. We need to put this spot into more of our future. Sad it’s just over an hourcommute for us. Read more

Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11:15 am. very satisfied with the food and service we got. Gustavo who was our server was amazing. He... recommended us dishes to try and we were satisfied with the ones he recommended. He was very polite and professional. The onlything that was I was not satisfied with was the hostes. As soon as we entered they did not say anything. They had low energy andwas not welcoming. Overall the food and our server was outstanding. Too bad I couldn’t say that about the hostes. I hope theytreat customers better. Read more

Wonderful experience here. Went with friends several times now. Their vegetables side is typically very good. Unfortunately... my last trip they seemed to forgot how to cook them. I recommend a visit if you are looking for a great restaurant by the oceanwith lots of views and privacy. The prices for eating basically on the ocean are good. We have been very happy with the fishchoices and very well prepped and served. Read more

Excellent place to eat and spend time enjoying the ocean. Food is great! We had the fish taco dinner and calamari sandwich. Both... are large enough plates to share! Food was great! The oyster shots are also delicious! Service was very very good. Very niceplace to sit and enjoy the sites!! Read more

We had one of the four options for the feast special! We chose for 2 people $41 each person...so worth it! Started with a bucket... of steamed Manila clams...omg! Second course were salads. Third course were both red and white chowder. Last course was freshgrilled swordfish with a side of rice Pilaf and mixed vegetables. Not to mention the best sourdough bread to start! We highlyrecommend this restaurant. Thank you! Read more

Doesn't get better than fresh seafood right on the pier. We sat outside on a beautiful 68 degree day in February. Waves crashed... below and gulls cried in the distance. The smell of delicious food and the salty sea breeze filled the air. We had the clamchowder (delicious and not too thick with a nice peppery spice to it), the shrimp cocktail (very tasty but felt like it neededmore shrimp for the price), and the fish and chips (some of the best I've ever had.) The service was amazing and the atmosphere, perfect. What a wonderful lunch. Read more
