A nice choice for an elevated French dining experience within the confines of Hillcrest, this place does a decent job of... providing a nice experience. The food was cooked well, though the scallops just needed a hint of salt as the rest of the mealwas absolutely great. Loved the mushroom filling on the ravioli. The server did a good job considering he was the only one outof the ten-ish other tables there. The strangest issue was the seating situation as there were only four or so options forsitting couples together, which weren’t the best, and as more couples came in, the seating got awkward fast as they ran outand larger parties coming in couldn’t be seated. We dined on a week day so it was pretty quiet. They offered a 3-course menu as well as the ala carte menu. I can never say no to... branzino so I really enjoyed my meal. The french onion soup was superb, flavorful and filled with lots on onion. My dinnerpartner had the duck confit and was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as crisp as it could have been. Overall a nice diningexperience. Read more

Nice little french bistro on Hillcrest. We made a reservation for 8 at 4:30 pm but we thought could get in early, but that day... they opened at exactly 4:30pm so we where the 1st in and had the place all to ourselves, but it got busy very fast. They have agreat menu and very good wines. We had the Mouton Cadet from Bordeaux an it was a great choice. We ordered several dishes toshare between us and everything was delicious. One of our orders got backed out, but it got really crowded, but at the end itfinally came and it was ok. I highly recommend the Orange duck and the rack of lamb. Onion soup was also very good. Our serverdid a great job for a packed place. Definitely I will come back. Read more

Came here for V day. The service was horrible but there was only one waitress on the floor covering 30-40 tables. Not her... fault. The puff pastry ontop of the escargot were inedible. Not sure if they were for decoration or what but you literallycould not chew them. It resembled a bottlecap. my beef stew was delicious tho. Id go back just for that Read more

Pleasant bistro serving traditional French fare in the heart of Hillcrest. The lavender fries are a must-try. They are crispy,... salty and floral - very unique, and it totally works. The steak frites au poivre came with a thick, rich sauce with peppercornsand caramelized onions and was pleasantly salty. You will not leave hungry after dining here. Service was very good. They wereexperiencing an unexpected rush for a Sunday evening, and my server managed to take care of more than her fair share of guestswith efficiency and an upbeat demeanor. Read more

Oh my god this place is so good! Going to have to go back a bunch of times, to try everything on the menu! The muscles with... saffron are a must try. The chocolate mousse is like no other. Not too sweet, a little bit bitter, and not too rich. So sogood! Read more
