Crab fried rice is delicious. Every single grain is well defined and has the nice aroma of ?the breath of the wok? and crab... fragrance. Drunken noodles is well presented and tastes average, due to the rice noodles that failed to absorb the sauce andfried well. It feels like the rice noodles are just simply stirred for a while and failed to have ?the breath of the wok?. I amvery particular when it comes to drunken noodles/ Phad kee mao and had my fair share of very good ones. So I have to say this isof average, at most. Fried calamari is too dry and a bit over cooked. Read more

We ordered Garlic Stir Fry with Chicken, Thai Fried Rice with Tofu and Papaya Salad. All the three , entres and the side, were... perfectly hot (medium) and tasted great. There wasn't much dining space and that's the only thing I regretted. We visited SanDiego from Seattle so can't be 100% sure, but the quantity and the quality was great value for tummy, money and the taste budsalike. 5 stars from me. Read more

I am a local and moved here partially because of Bahn Thai, no exaggeration Blue crab fried rice is absolutely out of this... world. yummy*fantastic*hits the spot every time! If you enjoy aromatics, I suggest asking for extra cilantro as I found it tobe sparse but that?s like extremely specific. Mango sticky rice is quite small which was kinda a bummer but the overall flavormade every bite quality and balanced. Finally, steamed veggies are lovely and a solid mix of fresh (or darn close) veggies, some other restaurants don?t use fresh veggies and it?s quite apparent. Read more

Fire Thai food. Bomber egg and drunken noodles are fantastic. Their pad Thai is also fantastic. Honestly one of the best in SD... and definitely worth visiting on the regular. Read more

Came here for dinner because 2 different friends recommended it. And they weren?t wrong. Off the top- the place was busy, I... like that, yea we might have to wait a little for our food but that tells me it will be hot and fresh. Classic pad Thai withchicken, super good. Spring rolls were crispy and didn?t disappoint but the Thai fried rice at medium heat was amazing. Ireally wanted curry, the table (outside) next to us was slurping it up and it looked delicious. This is definitely a mustwhile in University heights. Read more

One of the best Thai restaurants in San Diego. My Thai friend suggested basil chicken with white rice and she said it is... authentic. I got a Pasam shrimp (specialty of December), they seemed to use the shrimp butter to make the sauce and it is so soflavorful. I admire the chef :) I got medium spicy for my dishes but I will scale down to Mild level next time. This place isalways crowded and parking is a little difficult. However there are a lot of free parking around the neighborhood. Willdefinitely be back for more. Read more

Hole on the wall eatery in University Heights. No indoor dining, 4 tables outside with a couple of heat lamps to keep... comfortable in chilly eve. Food comes out fast and is delicious. The only thing I would note here is that due to currentsituation everything comes in plastic with a load of it going into landfill. Read more
