Definitely better than expected. I didn?t have high expectation and decided to checkout this place on the weekend. I got the... sausage and papaya salad. It brought me back to mother?s cooking from my childhood. It?s real traditional Laos food, if youhaven?t had Laos food before. I would definitely recommend this location to start. Read more

Update: 6 aug Their quality and service has declined. Most of their menu is gone. I went from living their pad thai to it... tasting like stomach acid. Shouldn't have cut corners on a perfect thing. Ended up wasting $10 worth of food. Old review:2021 Omg they have such tasty food. I order appetizers because if you order them and then eat the main course there is way lessflavor in the main course. I LOVE THEIR THAI COFFEE!!! My husband loves their curry. Their curry fried rice is so yummy againeat it before appetizers! Read more

Loved the lao sausage, crying tiger, and fried pork belly, however portioning felt small. The pepper sauces were good with them... and the sticky rice. The kapoon was a little bland for me, I wanted more spice. The lao papaya salad was good and you're givenoptions to how you want it done. Read more

Some of the best Lao food I?ve had. I?ve made it my mission to try all the Lao restaurants in San Diego and I have some ready... and willing friends to join me. I grew up eating Lao food and always ready to go out for some since I can?t easily make it athome. We started with several appetizers: the meatballs, jerky, and sausage. A lot of fried food, but worth every drip of fat.The jerky and sausage are must order items, but meatballs were a bit boring. I think the meatballs would be a lot bettersteamed, not fried. We also had the Chicken Larp and Nam Khao. The Nam Khao did not disappoint. Probably my top 3 Lao dishes. We ordered it mild, the rice was fresh and crispy, and loaded with fresh greens. Another must order item. If you can handle thespice, I highly recommend medium. Chicken Larp is a must if you?re having the Nam Khao. The two go great together. Mix it up forsome great flavor! Service was fast and friendly. Spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Looks like they even do karaokeor have live performances?. Before COVID. Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Read more

An authentic restaurant with unique dishes, tentative service, and reasonable prices. My own favorite is their boat noodle... soup, which comes with a lot of different ingredients and full of flavors. They are open for takeout during the pandemic. Read more
