Good place if you don't like sugar. I personally was disappointed. The waffles tasted bland, the maple syrup didn't taste like... real maple syrup. It tasted like lighty sweetened water. Monte Cristo was good. Service was average/poor. The waiter didn't seemto care much, he had his hands in his pockets. Overall not the best experience. Read more
The food and service were good overall. I got the stuffed french toast and my girlfriend got the avocado toast. We both thought... the French toast was great but the avocado toast was only okay. The cereal killer latte is not something I would recommend andit was actually our reason for trying the restaurant. Read more
The Nutella french toast was fantastic, most of the food was decent as well. The place is a bit crowded and the wait can be long... on the weekends. Service was okay. San Diego definitely has a plethora of better options in the area. Read more
Looks like a cute place and the decor is but once you get inside it’s super crowded and the tables are really close together.... My friend and I decided we would try it out and she ordered the chicken and waffles and had a green matcha lemonade drink thatshe didn’t really like because she wanted it without lemonade and iced but the waiter said that the drink tasted better hotand that they didn’t have any ice and it only came with lemonade. Shes a pretty easy going perdón and decided to try it. Shesaid it was too sweet and the flavor just didn’t really taste like matcha, however she did enjoy the chicken and waffles. Iordered the iced buzzed Barbie which was pretty good, but it could’ve been colder. I originally had ordered that charcoalprotein waffle but the waiter said they couldn’t make that day and didn’t say why. So I decided on the monte cristo sandwichwhich stated was on French bread with ham. I asked the waiter to confirm this and he said yes. When I get the sandwich it’sthe complete opposite of what I had read and what the waiter had confirmed. I received a sandwich that had some type of turkey,roast beef, and ham. It was also on the French sweet toast! Super gross for me I definitely do not like that much meat let alonedifferent kinds in one sandwich and with sweet bread and jelly is disgusting to me. I was disappointed in the food of course andfound out this place is just for the hype of the atmosphere, the “pretty looking drinks” , and the picture to make it lookgood. Even the lady besides us, told us not to get the drink she got because she said it was just disgusting and ended up askingthe waiter for a latte instead. That lady wanted it iced and the waiter told her the same thing as my friend that they had noice and she just rolled her eyes. Came here for the souffle. Having tasted my first one at... I was looking forward to trying it here. Unfortunately it wasn't... good. It was dry. My wife tried the chicken and waffles and the chicken was over cooked. My wife ordered one of their lattes andshe liked it. My kids got the kids egg with bacon, really is more for a toddler being that it was such a small amount of food.Location ambiance was very nice. Staff was quick to tend to us. The food was great and the coworkers were so kind. Definitely a 11 out of 10, would recommend. I say it's a nice spot for a... young coward base on the environment when I was there. There are other food I wanna try there too. Read more
