This is one of my favorite, regular go-to spots for Cajun/Creole food. Bud and Rob’s has the best gumbo, pasta jambalaya,... Louisiana chicken, and catfish fingers in San Diego, and all at the best value! It’s run by a small-sized, friendly staff whowill make you feel right at home. If you’re looking for some authentic Cajun/Creole food, Bud & Rob’s is definitely theplace to go! Read more

This sister location to one of the best gems San Diego has to offer is a gift from that, that is holy. If you've ever had the... pleasure of going to New Orleans and feasted on the flavors difficult to duplicate, this place will spark all the propersynapses to transport you back to that specific time and place, even if it's for a brief moment. The smell will linger andgoosebumps will be goosed. I do not know what dish is not perfect because it has yet to be found. My favorite has to be TheTaste of New Orleans, with the blackened catfish. The seduction of overflowing flavor is simply too hard to resist. LouisianaChicken is a dish meticulously crafted by Angels themselves. With every bite you can hear their harps play. If dishes are alittle too heavenly, and you like to add some heat, I suggest a couple drops of their black widow sauce. You're welcome. And allat an affordable price in comparison. It's impossible, but true. It's true, but unbelievable. It's unbelievable, but undeniable. Read more

I am speechless literally. This hidden gem will knock your taste buds off. I came back twice and let me say the consistency is... unmatched. A little taste of New Orleans in Cali is what was needed. Highly recommend. Get the seafood bisque, shrimp and grits, and taste of New Orleans. Read more

Visited from N. County and was so happy with our experience. We had a reservation at 530 pm but hit traffic enroute. I called... the restaurant to give them a heads up and spoke with Ryan who assured us we would be seated when we arrived. Our waiter wasWesley who was amazing, very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious... we literally ate everything, nothingremained. The wine was also great! Would definitely come back soon. The food and customer service gave me a reason to frequentSD more often. Read more

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This place is ????????????. Family and I loved it. Everything was great.... Ambiance, value, food quality and service. Shrimp and grits are definitely as described- to die for. ???? blackened cat fish wasamazing as well. Daughter had the soft shelled crab with red beans and rice which were good too. We had to finish it off withthe beignets ( ben-yays) which were warm, airy and delicious. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. To the owners andstaff, please don’t change a thing. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Thank you Read more

This place was delicious. Service was really good as well. We went at lunch time though. Not sure how dinner service is. Only... downside is the place is small but cute. We had a group of 6 and they had to do some rearranging but they got us seated veryfast. Oh and it's downtown so you have ti find parking where you can. Overall the place was outstanding. Read more
