If you are stuck at Kaiser for an unfortunate accident then you have to venture down to this restaurant. It's very close by and... is a great alternative to the hospital food. The entire restaurant staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to preparethe meal for my wife. This level of customer service is amazing and refreshing. Foodwise, everything was a hit. As a person who has hawaiian blood running through my vein I would say this place is so delicious!!! Had a bit of my culture... made how islanders would make it (not a food chain that would botch the blended flavors for mass production) and even got to trynew dishes from related cultures. Customer service was pleasant and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone. Read more

Bought 4 dinners for family 7/20. Everyone enjoyed and remarked how good it was. Recently visited 5/20/22 Friday Brought... coworker to late lunch inside. Ordered combo plates.. Very tasty chicken and beef .. side of empanada .. Empanada was reallygood.. tasty. The only thing I tasted differently (since last review) was the kimchee daigo was not same strength as the 1st.The "base" was a bit off.. possibly from cucumbers. It was ok.. not as spot on as before. Also tried mac salad side.. possibly alittle more work there is needed. Next to try will be the shrimp patty.. forgot to order it. Otherwise all else was great.Friendly local atmosphere. Outside seating available. A must try for anyone looking for island style cusine. Thru Uber eatsdelivery. I must say years ago when I first moved to San Diego I was totally Unhappy with the food and never went back..being aChamorro myself I tend to be picky about 'Local' foods.This time since way back I must say my Pork Rib and beef combo was verygood. What a difference since back then. I will give other choices a try as well. I am not too fond of clear pancit noodles. Iprefer original Guam style Pancit. I will be coming back and probably introducing some Cali friends in the neighborhood to thisplace. PS.. the kimchee diago cucumber was well prepared too. No complaints there. Read more
Absolutely delicious food! Chamorro grill is an amazing hole in the wall with great service and delicious food. The prices are... comparable to the location and the quantity of food is good enough to satisfy the hungers of any person. Personal favorites areJohn’s teriyaki chicken and the empanadas. The grill can get busy around lunch time so it is recommended to call ahead orhave time to sit and wait (15-20 min on a slow day). Have gone three times and have not been disappointed yet. Tasty. First let me say that as a Chamorro, we can be very critical and picky about authentic cuisine. Recently my B.I.L. and... Nephew chose to use them for a Family Celebration of Life gathering. As most Chamorro families the food would be provided bypotluck from family members. For this event, due to the quantity of guests additional food was sought from the Grill. Firstcomplaint is that they stated they could not have the food prepared for the scheduled time of the event. Requiring the family toalter the event plans. Second, they gave a time for pick up, and when the family member arrived to pick the food up, it was notready. Obviously causing a delay in the event timing of food serving to guests. It is my opinion that a caterer provides thefood or service when required by the customer, not the reverse, That a good business is timely and meets the customers need. Unfortunately I ordered a pan for Red Rice for Thanksgiving and this location closed before posted time and before the time I... was given by cashier/hostess. Paid $30 and ended up empty handed for the holiday. Hopefully they make this right or refund me.A phone call stating they were closing early due to the holiday would have been great. Read more
