I invited my friends out to Covewood for their first wedding anniversary. The restaurant has a large fireplace in the center of... the open room. It is decorated with soft lighting, and the seats include large couches for guests to lounge and relax. There aretwo options for seating, inside and outside in the patio. They have a bar close to the entrance, and a table that couldaccomodate a large party (12). The food was delicious, and flavorful to say the least. We only had two negatives: The Hostess(ignored us and seemed annoyed) and the undercooked cauliflower served with the delicious scallop dish. Restaurant is somewhatpricy. Read more
Sat outside and had a great view of the bay and also watched a firework show from across the bay while eating which was awesome!... Pictured dish is the Seafood linguine which was very yummy! They do operate at 1 speed level: SLOW So don't come here if youare in a rush. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights while your meal is cooked to order. Read more
Went here for brunch and the food was delicious! We ordered the Birria Benedict and lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh squeezed... OJ. The Birria Benedict and OJ was outstanding! Great food and great service. Lots of vegetarian options. The beets bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. The truffle fries were... crisp. If you are staying in Mission Bay, this is a restaurant to have on your list. Read more

We ordered Lobster Eggs Benedict and it arrived PERFECT. Club sandwich was very much enjoyed by my son and my daughter in law... enjoyed French Toast with lovely sweetened whip creme. All dishes were delicious. Service was impeccable. Polite and prompt.The ambience is peaceful wt fireplace for warmth and views of the bayside 180 degrees through a lovely glass providingprotection from winds. There was a breeze as you may enter this lovely fining establishment via a walkway right off of theboardwalk! 5 Star rate by myself and 2 guests...and we are picky! Finally, this spot provides a calm to me that creates rebirth,mini vaca and I am very grateful to God for such a glorious gift, for it nurtures all of my senses and let's my soul rest. ? Read more
This being a resort style restaurant the parking at first was a little confusing on where was okay to park as we never found... dedicated restaurant parking. Once parked though, we ventured through the resort to the restaurant, which itself was pretty easyto find with the signage. We had arrived for our brunch reservation and the staff all seemed pretty busy at first, so we didstand a few minutes before being helped but I can't knock their score for them being busy. We sat on their outdoor patio(covered) which I would highly recommend. It was sunny out but shaded and being right on the water gave it a perfect breeze soit wasn't hot at all. I got the Huevos Rancheros & Chorizo (pictured) to eat and it was definitely a light and delicious dish toget your day started. The atmosphere is very relaxing and easily to over enjoy yourself. We definitely hung around and had a fewdrinks...1 because it was bunch but 2 because it was just such a nice view and friendly staff that we were having a great time.Plus if you love photos, they have plenty of options for getting your photo from the restaurant itself, by the water or even theoversized chair right off their patio. Would definitely recommend and plan to go back when in San Diego again as their menu hada lot of dishes that sounded amazing to try! Read more
