What a fantastic meal. Lynn was looking after us and really knows the menu inside out. She made excellent recommendations! This... restaurant is an excellent choice if you’re in Little Italy and craving good quality food with excellent service. ????- Pastawas obviously handmade, whether in house or not I can’t say but the bucatini was excellent. Milanese was equally great. Ilove Carpaccio and this was great. Although the bread was fresh, I found that it was a little small as a portion. ????-definitely try their White Negroni if you’re a Negroni fan. One of the best I’ve had in a while. We left Cucina Urbanasatisfied, good food, great drinks and a lively atmosphere with enough distance between tables to be able to enjoy yourconversation amongst the hustle and bustle. Absolutely loved this place! Came here as a celebration for starting a new job and the waiter surprised us with champagne at the... end to congratulate me! The food is amazing, the cocktails are great, and the furniture and ambiance inside is perfect for adate, celebration, or catching up with friends in a very tasty Italian restaurant. I especially loved this because it felt likewe were in Little Italy downtown due to how authentic and impressive the food was, minus the struggle of finding parking. I’ddefinitely love to come back! We had a wonderful night, with my husband here, celebrating his birthday. The service was excellent. There are different place... to seat, at the bar, pizza bar, window seating at the front, and a nice lounge area and outside. if you're sitting inside therestaurant during a busy hour it's so loud it's hard to have a conversation. So if you're on a date or a group of 4 you are goodto go but if you are on business or a bigger group maybe request a patio table. The food service and atmosphere wasamazing. The chicken was juicy and delicious. We ordered Margarita pizza and Fried squash blossoms.No matter what you choose tohave you cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. The drinks are also amazing! The food service and atmosphere at this restaurant was amazing. There is a pizza bar, where you can sit and watch your pizza be... made. There's also good seating at the bar, window seating at the front, and a nice lounge themed area in the back. Read more
I don't know San Diego very well, so I picked a few restaurants at random. This one was nice, the pizza was good. It would have... nicer to have been seated inside though as it got cold and windy half way through our meal. Service was great. I'll be back andtry some other dishes next time! Read more
Had a wonderful evening with my husband here, celebrating the weekend, celebrating us. The service was excellent where one feels... really taken care of. We're both vegetarians which was not a problem to accommodate and scrumptious! And an incredible wineselection which you could take home, which we most definitely did with our 2014 Barolo. Definitely order at least one of the small bites. We really enjoyed the fried squash blossoms and grilled octopus which was... perfectly cooked. The mushroom pizza was amazing as well! The bucatini pasta was ok - I’d like to return to try a differentpasta. They do have great service though! Easy to find parking on Saturday either at a lot or paid meter(free after 6pm).
