Their chicken samosa is worst I ever had after few minutes of keeping the samosa down with tip down I saw green color liquid... coming out. Not sure what it is but I will never eat food that is dripping color liquid from it. It did not look fresh at all. Will never eat here again. Read more

Ordered from this place on Uber Eats (listed as Moonlight Masala with the same address - apologizes if this is a different... restaurant). They had a special of buy one get one free for their shrimp tandoori bowl. ONE was listed as $20. We also made anorder of the paneer pakora for $12. Each dish was supposed to come with 3 sauces and the two bowls had a multitude oftoppings/add-ons (like cauliflower, chickpeas, onions, etc). We got only 2/6 of our sauces and both bowls came exactly the same, missing most of the ingredients we requested and including ingredients we didn't (for example, neither of us requested tomatoesbut we got that, while chickpeas and cauliflower were nowhere to be had). The palak paneer was decent but only included 6 piecesso it hardly seems worth 12, especially without sauce. WAY overpriced and can't even get basic orders right? Yeah never gettingtheir food again and definitely getting a refund from Uber. Thank you, next... Read more

Curry 'n Kabab has taken pole position on my list of favorite restaurants from which to buy Indian food in the city. Here are a... few reasons why my next Indian meal is going to be at Curry 'n Kabab: 1. The Naan Bread. Curry 'n Kabab's naan bread isglistening with ghee, puffy and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This is excellent naan for San Diego -- excellentfor anywhere in fact. 2. The Lamb Vindaloo. Fiery as a vindaloo ought to be with large chunks of juicy, braised lamb. Light onthe cloves and heavy on the garlic, which I also appreciate. Again, I'd consider this red hot curry good even outside of SanDiego -- but it earns extra points for being available in this city where good Indian food is so scarce. 3. The Chicken SeekhKabab. Ground chicken and spices shaped into kebabs, like kofte, resulting in a meat dish that is delicate and flavorful, sourand spicy -- almost like a sausage. This was a very pleasant surprise, and I will continue to order it. 4. The CourteousService. Things moved slowly the first time I dined here during a busy dinner hour on a Thursday -- my food took 30 minutes tocome out. However, both visits I received courteous service with a smile, and an apology for the delay during my firstvisit. For these reasons and the competitive prices here, I bestow five stars onto Curry 'n Kabab. Read more

Had the lunch special. Comes with soup, rice, naan, and 2 items. Love the plating and presentation. After you order they bring... the food out to you. Vegetable Korma was creamy and little bit on the sweet side. Chana masala was on the spicy side. It wasvery filling. Masala chai was OK, needed more sweetener. I might try something else in the future, maybe something not aslimited as the lunch menu. Read more

3.5 stars. It is a small place right next to Miramar cash and carry. Some patio seating available. We ordered food to eat there... itself. We got the lamb seekh kabab, the dhaba style chicken curry (their weekly special) and the lamb wrap with roselassi. The lamb seekh kabab was very very good. Maybe a little salty but really tasty. The accompanying chutney, onions andcoriander helped elevate the whole appetizer. The dhaba style chicken curry was just ok. Quite oily and rich looking, butmissing something that would elevate the flavors from oil and spices to tasty and wholesome. We ate the chicken pieces and leftthe oil and curry behind. The lamb wrap was SPICY, as we had asked for. That was quite good. The rose lassi was just ok. Ithink I had something else in mind when I asked for it. It could've been sweeter. Overall, decent place, but will be back onlyoccasionally Read more

Over at this great restaurant! The food was wonderful and more that I was expecting. When they ask 1-10 and you like very spicy... food you will need to be ask for 10 plus 10 to get the spicy version which they were happy to make. There 10 seems like a 3-4 tome and there one that I got was about 8-9 range after getting it extra spicy. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Thestaff is very nice and helpful. Love the coke cooler in there as well. Read more
