A little hole in the wall in a strip shopping center near Rady Children's Hospital. We had the Pupusa Specials with chicken &... cheese, zucchini & cheese and pepperoni & cheese. Delicious!! The couple working there were very nice, welcoming & gracious. Very casual with plenty of tables & interesting artwork on the walls. We'll definitely go again when we're in the area . Read more

The customer service is very good. They are very nice and cordial. The food is good ,I would like to emphasize that I only tried... pupusas and pan relleno con pollo so I can?t speak for the rest of the items. Wonderful food and customer service. The workers were all so nice, the chef even came out to say hi after he finished cooking... our food. Prices are great for big portions of food. There were so many pupusas to choose from so we tried almost all of them,including the pupusa loca. Everything was delicious. I don't live in San Diego but my aunt does and this is a new regular spotfor her and whenever I visit it will definitely be on my list. I was craving some pupusas and I had some delicious ones at Cuscatlan. I had the ones that were filled with jalapeno, as well as... the ones with zucchini. My friend also enjoyed the chicken guiso; there was so much flavor! The food was fresh and the customerservice was excellent! Both the cashier and the cook spoke to us and answered questions about the menu. I would recommend cominghere to eat some great Salvadorian food. Eat up!!! Read more
