On base Dennys is a good place for lunch. Food quality was the best of the 3 in the local area I've been to.
No one ever goes to Denny's and thinks great view and great atmosphere. But this Denny's is located on the Marine corps base and... if you're lucky enough to go. It has a great view of the golf course. And the staff is super friendly. Read more

Purchased 2 orders of junior chocolate pancakes with bacon to go. After checking the first time, both orders were missing bacon,... I notified the hostess. She brought my order to the kitchen to have it corrected. Once we got home, I noticed that only one ofthe orders was fulfilled. Both the hostess and the kitchen saw the receipt still failed to complete a simple order. Read more
My husband works on base, so maybe once a week, we meet here for lunch with our two children. The location is convenient and... it's a nice place. We always have pretty good experiences with not only the service, but the food as well. Yesterday, we did ourweekly lunch meet up and there seemed to be hardly any workers. I get it with today's world. BUT... When I got my food, itlooked very odd. I got the loaded tots and it just looked like they poured a soup on top of them. Whatever, I ate it because Ihadn't eaten anything all day and it was indeed like eating a tater tot soup. I let it slide but then, my daughter got appleslices with her kids meal and when she was halfway through, she noticed a fly at the bottom of the bowl. We were extremelydisgusted and she didn't even finish her food. I felt so disgusted after seeing it that I ended up vomiting my entire meal. I'm6 months pregnant, so it's very easy for this to happen. I wake up this morning with the worst stomach cramps knowing mostcertainly that the soup made me sick. What the hell is going on here? Definitely will think twice the next time I come herelooking for a place to eat with my family. It's so sad because this was one of our favorite spots. Read more
Located on base right on the golf course. Lovely place to grab food at any time of day. Loads of space and seating. Service was... super attentive and all the staff was so friendly and lovely. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. Waitress brought usall the little extras we needed! We went at a kind of quiet time of day, but I think it might just be a bit of a hidden gem onbase. Definitely recommend if you're on base at Miramar! Side note, bathrooms were SPARKLING clean!!!! 10/10 Read more
