The bagel was delicious (everything bagel, albeit a tad bit too salty), and their muffins were to die for!!

Wanted to try a chorizo burrito without cream cheese but was told they come pre-made. Ended up getting an Asiago bagel with... egg, cheese and bacon. You might as well go to McDonald's because it's dang near the same preparation : cooked eggs and limpbacon stored in drawers. Bagels put through a "toaster" so quickly it's barely warm - forget about crisp and buttered. Allthrown together with a piece of cold American cheese. So if that's your thing, by all means, enjoy. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I STEPPED A FOOT IN EINSTEIN BAGELS & I FINALLY DECIDED TO COME IN & IT WAS THE... WORST! I ORDERED & THERE WAS 3 WORKERS. 1 IN THE BACK, ONE IN THE FOOD AREA AND THE OTHER ONE IN THE DRINK STATION/CASHIER.AFTER I ORDERED IT TOOK ABOUT 15 MIN TO RECEIVE MY FOOD, MEANWHILE THE GUY AT THE DRINK STATION WAS JUST WALKING AROUND NOT EVENACNOLOGING OUR DRINKS. IT TOOK HIM ABOUT 15 MIN TO FINALLY START ON OUR DRINKS. AFTER THE FIRST DRINK WAS DONE HE MADE OURSECOND DRINK (STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE & CARAMEL FROZEN DRINK) & IT WAS HALFWAY. We got the new brisket sandwich and they are pretty tasty. I got mine on an everything bagel and we also got one just the way... it's advertised. Bagel was perfectly cooked and the flavor and tender of the brisket is worth going back for. The dude who wasmaking the sandwiches had great customer service. There was a lady acting rude with staff and other patrons and he still kepthis cool advised her she would be helped in order she came in. He continues making food and gets everyone going very quickly. The young ladies working there on cashier were very efficient, helpful and quick. Their cold brew was smooth and full offlavor. Excellent bagels. Friendly service. They don't have all their selection when they open however. The bagel I wanted to try had an... ETA of 7am (I arrived at 6:30). Also the hot chocolate was utterly unimpressive and bland. I was also expecting to be able tojust add a slice of lox as an add on. From the menu it seems if you want Lox you need to get the $8 "meal". Probably deserves 3stars, but it's a chain. Read more
