Great place for a special occasion. The food was amazing. Dessert was delicious. The service could have been a little better. At... first service was awesome and they checked on us frequently. Once we were actually ready for someone, they disappeared and wejust waited way too long. Also when we set the reservation it asked if we were celebrating anything. We put we were celebratingour engagement. Not sure if they just don’t do anything special anymore or if they assumed that 2 men couldn’t get engagedand just ignored the note. We celebrate many special occasions at Flemings Downtown SD and we recently went again for a double date with dear friends, the... food and service never disappoints. Must haves are calamari, miso glazed sea bass, and lava cake! Husband always gets a primesteak (cooked to perfection) so of couse I get a taste of it too. Read more
