I Visited and had a decent time . The server was really nice! I forget what I ordered...I think it was a chicken sandwhich and... fries. It was really good! My friend ordered a macaroni dish and it was a lot serving wise, so I added it to my plate to eat aswell and it was AMAZING with my fries! Read more

Menu was a little limited and was a little pricey for brewery type food, but it IS downtown San Diego. Fortunately, it was a... baseball GameDay and they had specials. Beer was, of course, tasty. Lots of hoppy choices. Def would stop in again before agame. Service was on top of it and very friendly. Recommended. Read more
Flatbread and truffle fries are both amazing. Good selection of beers, would love to see them brew something a bit more... accessible. I get it though. The building is the star of the show though, location within walking of Petco. Super friendlystaff too! Read more
Was downtown doing business and finished we decided to go to Half Door Brewing Co. for beers and appetizers. We were seated... right away inside and ordered beers and a flatbread. Nice selection of beers on tap and they have a full bar. The beers we hadwere great and the flatbread was great. Fun and friendly staff there. Will be back for sure. Read more
Some of the best things happen when you wander. Half Door Brewing Co. is one of those “things” for me. Service The staff... here is so great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting to talk to. “Above and beyond “ comes to mind. Atmosphere What acool building. Upstairs, there’s a separate bar that’s open on Fridays and Saturdays, plus it’s open for events. On themain floor, there’s a full bar inside and a seating area outside. Food & Drink I got the fish and chips, a pint of beer, andthe bread pudding. The fish was generously portioned and perfectly crisp and flavorful. The fries were good. The beer is brewedin-house and the options are incredible. The bread pudding tastes as good as it looks. I was too full for it but I had itanyway. Worth it. Recommend? Without a doubt. I’d go back. We got there around 9 p.m. on weekdays, it was not crowded, and we could park easily close to the restaurant. Everything we ate... was fresh and delicious. We ordered Fish n chips and a mouthwatering Burger ???? They also offer a wonderful beermenu. Friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere was lovely. Read more
