The establishment was very professional and respectful. When our group needed assistance they were there! Great atmosphere,... people were nice and having a great time. You can actually order from their place and the Mexican restaurant next to them. I gotthe taco plate(2 shrimp-1 fish). 3 tacos your choice, rice & beans. All the chips and salsa you want. ????. The food is decent but completely disappointed that we made reservations to only find out that you cannot be seated on Havana... 1920 until 5:00pm. We were sat at their sister restaurant El Chingon, eating Cuban food, completely missing an experience wewere looking forward to. Read more
Cuban menu available in Mexican seating side was great! Sandwiches and yucca frita was so good! Drinks amazing!
Cool restaurant. The building has a prohibition-era theme and Habana 1920 is the theme of going to Cuba in the 1920s to drink.... The bar is mainly focused on rum, but they are willing to be flexible to get you what you want. The service and food weregreat. Read more
Excellent. According to my wife who has been to Cuba it is very authentic. We had the croquettes, empanadas, tres leches cake... and the guava daiquiri. And life music. Read more
This place was a great find in the Gaslamp Quarter. The food is very tasty and extremely well priced, especially when you go on... a night they?re having a special. The chips and salsa were yummy, the sandwiches were delicious, and the fries were great. Ourwaitress was had high energy, but was a bit too much for us. She spoke to us in a different voice seemingly every time shechecked on us or brought out refills/food. We didn?t know if it was a show she was acting in or what, but it was a bituncomfortable. We didn?t know how to react when a grown woman spoke in the Elmo voice, a Boston accent, a devil?s voice, and aGodfather mafia voice on numerous occasions. It was odd. She was very kind and answered all our questions though. Everythingelse about our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. Short wait, fun vibe, great location, yummy food. Would highlyrecommend! Very nice place an environment!!! Great music too! I got the mojito and my husband got the coconut mojito ( the bartender made... the special since it was not on the menu) delicious!! We started with croquetas de Jamon y queso! Delicious and the two salsasthat come with it! Also tried the sopa de pollo, perfect for a cold day...and we got ropa vieja! Excellent!!The beef wasabsolutely great! I would have liked that to come with more than 2 little pieces of plantain ( I mean is not caviar, added atleas 3 haha ) ..but everything was delicius, great service!! Definitely coming back !
